(They say I should of been a Baptist Preacher bcz All I eat is Chicken)☺️! Me and my family loves this place. (1.-One being able to Sit Down in total comfort and Enjoy your meal)2.- food is always fresh and Hot 3.-"Close to Home" ! Also been going to this LEE'S for quite awhile . There is a change in Faces❤️🤎 but to me there is kno change in the GOOD chicken that's what matters the Most 4.-The new girls they got it down !-Baked chicken and Pot Pies Corn on the COB,Apple pies etc..🥧 (Revisited SAT. 3/10/2023)! around 12:00 noon had to update previous"Review" an reduced" 5* to now 3*" for (the weekend service) big change in the weekend manager compared to manager of Weekdays who is also the COOK and who prepares the Orders .Today SAT. I got my usaul combo livers and gizzards , cole slaw , baked beans and it was terrible. No livers nor did she try to accomodate. The girl fixing orders looked frustrated usually very nice and usually works Weekdays . And new girl working cash register was Unguided. Could be the beginning of something not good for that LEE'S or maybe just don't go there on the Weekends .(I showed the weekend manager my order ) shortly after purchase . It was short on baked beans an gizzards . And Cole slaw was like I had never seen before . I was shown absolutely Know concern and then she gave me my order back having/displaying immature values . At that particular time I don't think anything could of been done to make it right . Also noticed a AGE difference in weekend manager compared to the Week Days Manager "older and more ADAPT" Ms.Linda the original Manager has now Retired😔had gotten use to seeing her over 25 + yrs etc... maybe time for me to do the same🤔 but the weekday manager is keeping up Ms. Linda's TRADITION of that LEES...
Read moreIf I could give this place a zero I would. Honesty means a lot and you certainly won’t get it here. I have used this place a lot as a go to, to pick up orders for my group events and it has been great until over the last month or so. I placed a to go order 7/20/24. I always order the 16 piece box and for some strange reason no matter the time, they are always conveniently out of the breasts and they NEVER tell you they just put in the pieces they want you to have which are usually the leg or wing. I decided today I would check and would you believe …same thing! I go inside and ask if I can get the correct order which should be four of each piece. The manager proceeded to talk loud and say she would count every piece. She then goes on to ask if I wanted Famous or Crispy and just so happened to be out of Crispy which is what I ordered . If you just opened a little over an hour how is that possible? I placed the order at 11:46am. Even though I don’t like the Famous I told her I would take the breast in Famous. Who wants to pay over 30.00 and not get the larger piece? She and the young lady proceed to talk out loud while she’s back there. It is obvious that lady doesn’t care about the store, customers, or the quality of the food. This was the third time this happened and the last time! I will drive farther out! I refuse to keep paying for poor quality and rude behavior! If you are not able to properly fulfill the order let the customer know!!! Honesty...
Read moreMy wife and I ate lunch at Lee's today and our food and service was good and we were satisfied customers. However I was appalled at how a elderly black gentleman was treated. We were seated several feet from the counter and I was unable to hear the entirety of the discussion, but the gentleman was not pleased with a piece of chicken on his plate and asked that it be replaced. The manager, I believe named John, refused saying that he had eaten part of it, and simply refused to replace it. The gentleman explained his problem with the chicken to no avail to the manager who was unyielding and refused to be swayed by the gentleman's reasons.
The gentleman called someone at Lee's corporate office and they said they would need to see a pic of the chicken; if you can believe this. The manager had of course tossed the plate by this time. So the corporate office backed the manager and basically said sorry! The gentleman left, along with two employees that he had treated to lunch, vowing never to return.
Now keep in mind we are talking about a piece of freaking chicken! Why not just give the gentleman a piece of chicken and keep a customer happy rather than have an angry customer that will never do business with you again? What happened to the old axiom of "the customer is...
