This McDonald's location is consistently dirty and poorly maintained! (In all fairness, a lot of the maintenance issues are due to the area the location is in. The people who live in certain areas of this city/county have no problem tearing up, running down, and destroying things in their own neighborhood that don't belong to them, even though they are the ones who have to live in the area! I believe that's the case with this location - non-employees are tearing up the building and premises while the neighborhood people who work there are lazy and don't keep things up as they should, so everything looks run down) During my previous visit (which was supposed to be my last visit, but because I was very limited on time, I visited this location again this time - it's the closest to my house) a COCKROACH (yes, a cockroach!) walked across the counter as I was placing my order. (It was back when you placed your order at the cash register - it's been a while since I visited this location) This cockroach was HUGE too - there was no way you could miss it! The employee jumped back and screamed, but wouldn't do anything to catch/kill/remove it. The manager came over and killed it (smashed it) right on the counter where they give you your food. He wiped the dead bug and its guts off the counter with a dry paper towel or napkin, but then he walked away. I assumed he was getting something to wash the counter with, but apparently I was wrong! About a minute after that, my food was ready so the employee set the bags (it was a "to-go" order) right where the dead bug was smashed and said "Have a nice day," which was the first time I'd heard that from an employee in this location in a very long time. I was honestly surprised by this but I was surprised even more that the employee expected me to accept my food after being placed on a counter right in front of me where a huge cockroach had just smashed and wiped up with a dry paper towel (no soap) less than a minute before! I told the employee that I was not accepting the food like this and asked for the manager. When he walked back over, he was like, "What seems to be the problem?" This completely threw me off guard! I would have expected the manager to know what the problem was, considering he was the one who smashed the cockroach! I told the manager I would not accept the food because the whole thing was gross, unsanitary, and flat-out wrong! He did apologize and offered to have my food remade but by this point, I was grossed out and was not going to eat anything from this place! Besides, if this is how they react to a cockroach in a customer-facing area, I can only imagine how bad things must be in the areas that can't be seen by customers! (where they store, prep, and cook the food) I told him that there was no way I could eat the food from this location or feed it to my family and that I wanted my money back! He tried offering me a gift card with the same amount on it but I told him I wanted my money back in cash. (Which is how I paid) He finally relented but still acted as if I was being ridiculous. After recounting that situation here, I'm not at all sure why I went back to this location this time. After thinking about it, I definitely shouldn't have. So, although this most recent visit was not horrible, I felt the need to change my ratings to what they are now because my previous visit was THAT BAD! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! (Please understand that I DO NOT like giving negative reviews at all - check my other reviews. They are mostly positive but still quite long, like this one. I like to give honest feedback and sometimes it requires a long response to get the point across.) Also, please note that I have had very poor luck using the drive-thru - quite often the order is wrong and almost always because it's short, not because they give you too much! If you do visit this...
Read moreHorrible customer service! There are two female managers, ones name is Rose and she is extremely rude and the other one is an older lady that works at various times. Went to get breakfast the other day and ordered 2 breakfast burritos. When I got my bag there was only one in the bag so I told the girl in the drive thru that I was missing a burrito and instead of saying sorry and getting another one, she questioned me and then screamed to Rose to ask her if she put 2 in the bag to which Rose replied yes, she put 2 in the bag. I then had to hand them the bag so they could see that there was only one In the bag and they looked at me sideways so I told them I just wanted my food that I PAID FOR and had been waiting 15 minutes for and told them to come out and search my car if they wanted to, there wasn't another burrito anywhere. They made me feel horrible. Then one night my husband went up to get us dinner and he ordered a large fry. When he got him he looked in the bag and guess what, no fries, so he went back up to McDonald's which is only 1 minute away from our house and told the lady in the drive thru that he was missing his fries and she immediately went off on him and told him that he needed to call up there when he realized that they were missing to which he replied that both him and I had tried to call 3 times each before he went back up there and as always, the people on nightshift leave thenphones off the hook so they don't have to answer them and we got nothing but busy signals each time. She argued with him over a large fry for 5 minutes before he got aggrivated to the point where he told her that he just wanted his damn fries that he paid for and that he would be on his way, so after a 10 minute argument she finally went and got him his fries and forcefully slammed the bag into his hand. We have had so many issues with this particular McDonald's that we drive the extra 5 minutes out of the way to go to a different McDonalds so we don't have to deal with the employees from that...
Read moreThis location is awful. I ordered a double filet-o-fish meal with 3 cookies and a medium sprite. I received 3 hamburger patties completely drenched in Tartar sauce. I also didn't receive any cookies and the fries were unsalted. I go to this location to ask as to why my order was made this way b/c I feel that it was intentional. I talked to the Regional Manager Stephanie. She explained to me that she was not there overnight and has no idea what could've happened and that it was not intentional. I asked her was somebody being funny or in a bad mood and then her attitude changed to being rude and dismissive when I ask valid questions and says I'm not going to go back and forth with you. Based upon the photos on this review I showed other people they too said it was intentional. I went to other locations and showed them these photos and they said it was intentional. Stephanie says that with food delivery apps UberEats should've never allowed me to order dinner items when at the time they would've switched to breakfast items. That's beside the point because someone managed to find 3 hamburger patties and ALOT of Tartar sauce to put in a box with no cookies. I then called corporate and I go the same dismissive statements and she was making excuses for Stephanie and her crew. This is a public food safety issue. People like this shouldn't be handling the public's food if this how they are gonna act because now I don't trust you. Please stay away from this location. It's very apparent they have a culture of terrible service and quality assurance. Also based upon Stephanie's attitude in not surprised the employees have the same attitude. Also Ms. Stephanie wanted to come out to my car and say to me that my order was not in her system. I also left a photo of my receipt that shows...
