St. Louis Fish & Chicken Grill- Howdershell — Restaurant in Florissant

The restaurant was FILTHY. It was trash on the floors and they were extremely sticky and nasty.

When I asked if someone would clean up the cashier said their floors would always be that way because the food was greasy. This did not make sense to me. I figured he would clean the floors when he had down time. Which he had a nice amount of down time but he did not do so. I asked for the manager and he said he was not there because he was out celebrating a religious holiday.

If the front of the restaurant is this nasty and the workers are this lazy just imagine how many corners they cut when preparing your food. ...

It's a small privately owned place with really good food. It's very clean inside, it's also very small, not alot of room for dining in. The menu is pretty simple, burgers, wings, gyros etc. Kitchen part is open to public, and is very clean as well. Only thing I saw that made me shake my head was the young girl taking orders sitting on the counter while no one was ordering anything. 🤦‍♀️ Girl...get your butt off the counter that you pass customers food on! Come on now. But to be fair she was very nice, smiled alot and got down once the door opened and...

Havent been since they first opened, it was amazing back then. But just now orsered some fried mushrooms...i was in store while they cooked them. They kept bluncing them from one fryer to the other. By the time they came out they are burnt. And taste like stale greese. And my fries were cold and chewy. Probably because theyd been sitting there for the whole 10 minutes it took him to fry the mushrooms. The chicken sandwich while good in size had zero flavor besides the pickle and onion. Overall i regret spending my 17.00....
