In a boutique settings, such as this location, self check out should be an option NOT mandatory. Not a fan of the barista watching me ‘self checkout’ in an empty café. Next, the self check out system descriptions are not populated and it’s confusing on what the actual product is. This lead me to ordering something other than I was wanting. My fault on that one however I’d like to see better descriptions or a barista who is knowledgeable about the products being sold. Lastly, I understand It’s a new location and people need training. I ordered a hot oolong milk tea, no boba, simple. the employee working had me put in my own order on the screen, and then started on my drink. she seemed lost. it took her almost 10 minutes, and i noticed her putting chocolate syrup in my drink? she handed it to me and said “is this right? i can remake it if not.” i took a sip. it was ice cold coffee with chocolate syrup in it. she told me she was thrown off because i ordered it hot? but the drink she gave me was ice cold? and THEN told me that they don’t even have oolong tea? i was so at a loss for words i just left. was she okay? i will never...

This is such a cute spot! It's a black owned business, and the owner is so cool! The vibe is chill and artsy. They support local artists by selling the art in store!! I had the creme brulee, which was silky smooth and so delicious, and the sugar was so delicious and caramelly, and the crack was so satisfying! I also had the red thai tea, which was really good. I could actually taste the tea, and it wasn't overly sweet! Best thai tea I've had in DFW for sure! They also do private events for 10-15 people for 2 hours or so for a VERY reasonable price.
