I came in today, Thursday, March 3rd, around 12:50 p.m. No one has name tags on, so I can't address the individuals name but the guy in red shirt (only red shirt in the building today) exhibits arrogant, rude and snotty behavior. He would greatly benefit from some customer service training 💯 When he asked me what I'd like, mind you I had 4 people in front of me (he already took their order) but the line was backed up and everyone was standing in line, no movement. The line was backed up, and more people placed their order before sandwiches were even made or before their bread was out on the counter. I could NOT see the menu, and I needed a minute. When I told him I'd be happy to wait until the line moves along, he rolled his eyes and said "uhmmm, okay", shrugged his shoulders and turned around (as if he was serverly put out that he had to wait on me). I seriously was considering leaving at that point, he was that arrogant. Yes. Really. I was running on 15 mins to eat before an appt. around the corner. He wasn't doing anything at that time that was work related. Razzing one of the other employees about a timer going off, and flirting with one of the female coworkers about speaking in French ("such is life"). I waited that much longer to place my order, when he asked me again what I'd like to order, just so he understood you're not going to act like that towards someone who chose to patron your business today. I could have gone anywhere.
A second female employee asked me what I wanted on my sandwich, I started to tell her, then she says "just a minute". (What?) Then I go to pay for my 2 sandwiches (one regular, one mini), I get over charged. When I corrected "Travis" on the charges, he just asked for my card again and refunded me. Seemed irritated that he had to ring up a refund. (What?)
Lots of employees rushing you thru the line. No one was courteous or friendly. Everyone seems put out to work. I won't be returning to this location. First and last time. 👍 I plan to follow up with contacting management tomorrow, when they are in. When management isn't around, this location is ran poorly. Read moreMy husband mobile ordered our order on Sun 6/11 at 12:45pm. It said the order would be ready at 1:25. I arrived at 1:37 and my order was not ready on the pick up table. I waited about 10 minutes before asking on the status and was told that it was half way through. At about 2:05pm my order was ready. After I watched several people come in after me and go through the line as well as 4 mobile orders leave without food in their hand I was tired of waiting. Another gentleman that was waiting in line got in the line to order because he was tired of waiting on his mobile order. Another customer walked up to the counter while waiting and said it had been 2 hours since she placed her order. The manager said someone must’ve taken. As he handed her the order he said something about her waiting till 2 hours to ask abouy her order. When I received my order, I asked the employee if he was going to compensate me for the hour and 40 minute wait I experienced. He then looked at the manager and the manager told me that the mobile orders were an issue and he had to pull someone. As a customer I’m not looking for an excuse, it’s not my job as a customer to tell you how to run your store or employees. A simple I’m sorry or here let me grab you a drink would’ve been the respectful thing to do. You don’t argue with your customers. In fact I ordered from this same store about a month ago through mobile order. When I got home my order was incorrect on both sandwiches. I called the store and asked for a refund because my husband and I weren’t going to eat sandwiches that we didn’t order. When I called the manager told me that I was wrong and his employee said he made the sandwich correctly. I then explained to him my order and lifted each top bread and told him what was on the sandwich to which he said he would refund my order. Read moreVery disappointed in my experience yesterday at 5:30 pm. I made an online order and after submitting, I realized that I made a mistake on the pickup time and needed the food later at 8:00 pm. I called the store to let them know and they didn't pick up. I called them 9 times, but to no avail. So I drove the 15 minutes to the store. Maybe they're busy or their phone doesn't work??? NOT THE CASE. When I get to the store, I call their number again and see an employee look at the phone and walk away without answering. There is only one customer there besides myself. When I asked the employee why he didn't pick up the phone, he said "we cannot answer private numbers". On the 15 minute drive home, I called another Jersey Mike's location to inquire about that "policy" and they informed me that it doesn't exist. She told me that employees are supposed to answer EVERY call.
Well anyways 8:00 pm rolls around. I show up to the location to pick up my food and they don't have it prepared. I wait 15 minutes. Later, I discover that the order wasn't right either.
With the unnecessary 30 minute roundtrip and the 15 minute wait, I spent a total of 45 minutes dealing with this location not including the time I spent to pick up the food at 8:00.
