TRIO COFFEE — Restaurant in Flower Mound

In my opinion, TRIO Coffee is hands down the best coffee shop in DFW. The Coffee is top notch and a higher quality than you get at Starbucks. Yeah i said it. The food items available are fantastic too. I personally look forward to the breakfast tacos. My little girls love their cookies and donuts. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful and personable. Yeah, they will talk to you and engage you in an actual conversation. Even more than that, they are super kind to my girls. My kids LOVE this place!!! More than the park...more than Legoland...more than any other place that a typical kid would love to go to. It's amazing. We go past at least four other "coffee" joints headed to TRIO and our kids don't care. The minute we approach the intersection where TRIO is located...a chorus of "COFFEE STORE COFFEE STORE" starts echoing from the backseat. Its rare nowadays to find a place like this that you can go to with your family and have a guaranteed good time. Oh..my wife likes it too. A lot actually...she's the one that found it and she loved it from her first visit...and she's hard to impress...i should know. I hope TRIO is here forever...cause if its not I will have to hope Barbie and Minnie Mouse open a donut shop close to our house. LONG LIVE...

This is my favorite coffee shop for a number of reasons. First, the coffee is amazing! The menu is more limited than a certain chain, but the quality is top notch. The vanilla latte is the perfect blend of richness and smooth sweetness. My daughter loves the kids hot chocolate, which is the perfect temperature to drink right away without being scalded.

Second, the environment here is bright and clean. No dark walls or low lighting; instead, it has a bright, modern look with plenty of natural light. It makes for a very pleasant space to work, write, meet a friend, or relax. Lots of small tables, a few comfy chairs, and plenty of plugs for charging.

Third, the staff is very kind and knowledgeable. They know many people by name and it feels like an friendly place to be.

If they had a drive thru, it just might be perfection. Even so, this is the best spot in Flower Mound to get a great...

Trio has become one of my favorite coffee shops after just one visit, and that's no easy feat. I always love shops that experiment with flavors and push the boundaries a bit, and Trio does exactly that.

I had the Alchemist along with their Grown Up Grilled Cheese, and both were fantastic. I've never had anything quite like the Alchemist, and it was an interesting experience picking apart the different flavors and notes that all played off each other, all while remaining exceptionally crisp and clear. My only disappointment was the salad served with my sandwich- while there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, there wasn't anything particularly good about it either, but that just goes to show how great everything else was.

I'll definitely be coming back here in the future, and I'm waiting earnestly to see what's...
