Snowy Bingsu & Boba — Restaurant in Flower Mound

Don't go here with your kids. Not a kid friendly place. Poor service and orders take way too long, despite the hefty price tags. My daughter loves Boba, and we used to come here in the past. I stopped by this place today with my daughter and son for a quick Boba and a Smoothie. Not a big order in my opinion, but after an hour of waiting for our order, I began to wonder. It was getting late, and I noticed others that had ordered after us had already received their food. When I inquired about my order, staff was telling me that smoothies would take very long make. Something I could hardly believe, since they completed other Bobas and a Smoothies for customers that had ordered after us, and after one hour, our order was still not close to be done. Staff was very unconsiderate, and I had to tell my daughter that we needed to leave since it was getting late and that our order was taking too long. My daughter became sad and started to cry. Something no parent likes to see their child experience. This really ruined her love for Boba. Still, staff could care less, and we left. Waiting more than an hour with two kids for two drinks is unacceptable, and being served lame excuses by indiferent staff is just shameful. I can't recommend this place, especially if you intend to go here with your kids. The high prices, lack of customer service, and long wait times make this an unpleasant experience. Unfortunately, we live in a society in which customers are a nucence to businesses, and the customer experience really does not matter any longer. What a shame, looking at the past reviews this place is definately not holding up to its reputation. The first time I went to Snowy Bingsu was in late May of this year for a sweet treat after a girls dinner. Immediately stepping into the shop, I was met with a chill and VERY welcoming atmosphere. The menu has plenty of options, really suiting the needs of anyone who could walk in which I appreciate. My kids tend to be very picky, though they have managed to find plenty of delicious things here. My first time at Snowy Bingsu I ordered the mango bingsu (of course!!), and my two girl friends each got a different type of bingsu (strawberry bingsu with cheesecake and blueberry bingsu). The service was excellent and the worker/cashier was very efficient. 😊 I’d never tried bingsu previously and was unsure of what to expect, though my expectations were exceeded. The texture and flavor were amazing, I’d realized I’d found my new favorite treat. From then on, I’ve been to Snowy Bingsu every week, sometimes more than once 🤣🤣, trying different flavors and concoctions. My favorite so far has to be the pina colada milk tea with mango popping boba or the coffee bingsu 🤤. Overall this has become a staple in my family’s routine for after soccer games, or even a weekend shopping treat! All of the treats and drinks are perfect for the summer time, though I suspect I’ll be continuing the trips well into the school year. So so so many delicious options and cannot recommend...

I have only visited this cafe once, but was very happy with my experience. I wish I had gotten the name of the person who helped, because he provided excellent customer service. I will definitely be returning, based largely on his efforts to ensure that my order was ready on time and it was what I wanted, even though I had ordered incorrectly.

I placed an online order for 20 taiyaki, with a pickup time for 15 minutes after they opened. I did not think my order would be ready in time, which would have been very understandable. However, I did ask them to contact me if they needed more time. Since this was my first time to order taiyaki, I didn't realize an almond topping was standard. An hour before the store opened, I received a call confirming that I wanted the almonds on all the taiyaki (I did not) and assuring me the order would be ready when I wanted it.

The order was ready and the almonds were on the side as we discussed over the phone. Since two of the taiyaki had cooled (they were cooked first), he included two more which were hot. I very much appreciate his effort to ensure that I was a happy customer and satisfied with my order.
