I have been there twice with friends. Food was good. First I had the French onion soup which was very good. Enough of all the ingredients plus very good flavor.

I had their regular hamburger. Good meat and flavor, just a tad underdone. I asked for medium well and it was more like medium but still good. Bun was good too. My friend had the chili and said it had a lot of tomato sauce.

Went back with other friends. This time I had the whitefish. Very crispy and great flavor--buttery and lemony It was served with choice of starch--I had rice. It also came with a squash medley which was slightly overcooked but I still liked it?

One of my other friends had a large salad, cranberry walnut. She said it was very good. Veggies were fresh and the combination of ingredients were well balanced. (This friend comes here frequently and says she thinshe may have had one bad meal but cant remember what it was.)

My other friend had the chili and said it was too sweet. I believe the chili might be one of the few things that may not be that great.

For dessert we shared the caramel apple turnover with ice cream I am not a fan of caramel and thought it had too much. But the rest of it was really good.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere was that of a nice bar/restaurant. We are going...

Everything about this seemed great, I was asked about my order, asked how I wanted it cooked, was greeted promptly when I entered the restaurant. The place has a very nice atmosphere, staff was pleasant.

Along with the meat being fairly bland (which for a $13 burger I'd expect some flavor at least) and unseasoned, I was asked how I'd like my burger cooked, so I told her rare and she straight up told me "okay" like no big deal (Not every place accommodates rare). I get my food and go home, I could tell immediately when I bit in that it was no where near rare, and after checking, sure enough not even pink inside. I would like to give them another try down the road because from everything I hear it's good eating. The fries were about the only thing about my meal that really had any flavor.

TLDR: The $13 Mushroom burger was bland. They told me they could cook a rare burger, not even a hint of pink to it. The...

We had family in from out of town and they chose Johnny’s. Additional family showed up so we grabbed a small table for additional seating and when we did a black pepper shaker fell off the table and shattered. You would have thought the whole bar come crashing down the way everyone came running! They caused more of a scene than what it was worth. The OWNER came over and with the look on her face I offered to pay for the pepper shaker and she crassly said, “Had you asked for help this wouldn’t have happened”! Real sympathetic and inviting! Over probably a 2 or 3 dollar pepper grinder! We weren’t incompetent and her and her staff caused more of a scene than we did by accidentally dropping the pepper. I hope she doesn’t have children- I would feel sorry I am sure she is one that thinks the world will end over spilled milk! Needless to say because of her nasty attitude I don’t ever feel inclined to enter the...

After eating at Johnny's Pour House for a very successful Birthday party, I (Nathan Harden) was INSPIRED to write a song. Now I have zero musical talent to speak of. A singing voice like a steel rake to metal...so this should work out fine...here goes. 🎼Johnny's Pour House, Johnny's, Johnny's Pour House. Beer on da' tap with my hands on da' fiddle, 🪕 Banjo playin' while my burgers on the griddle, food so good you know it really is a riddle.......... Johnny's Pour House! (1234) Johnny's Pour House (5678) Johnny's Pour House... (9, 10) sing it again! Johnny's...Pour House! 🤭 Had a marvelous time, marvelous service. Left a marvelous tip.

Had dinner tonight with my wife and newborn granddaughter. She had french drip without the provolone. The au jus was seasoned perfectly. The chips cooked to a crisp crunch. We both had coke to drink with our entrees. I had the fajitas. The steak cooked with the onions and peppers left a sweet char liquid on the plate. Lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and crisp. I wound up eating 1/2 the steak by itself with the peppers and onions. Hot chocolate with adult additions ended the meal. Kaluha for her and Baileys for me. Service was top notch to finish it off. Total meal was well worth the money.

Travelers, want wine, beer, sports tv, and gourmet food? This is the place to go. I’ve been traveling from Texas to Michigan and found this jem. The atmosphere and hospitality are on point. Ask for Jess and she will take care of you as if you are family. We shared the Butterball Stake Sandwich with our own bowl of potatoes and ham soup. Yummmmmohhh! So comforting with a glass of house Cabernet. ;) Keep in mind, it’s “not” a sandwich. It’s a stake on a French bread. Perfectly cooked to medium with side of homemade chips. I hope you give this place a try. We sure glad we did!
