1, The biggest issue, when you try to call the store and get a call center asking you to place an order. I, quite literally, could not get through to the actual store to notify them that I was out front, sitting curbside.
I sat curbside for 20 minutes with 2 young children in the car, in the rain, and no one came out. Not to notify me of a longer wait, or bring my order. I was in the spot directly in front of the store, and I did enter that I was there in the app. I tried calling repeatedly after waiting 10 minutes patiently, but I was transferred by the call center several times and hung up on 4 times. By accident or not, when just trying to pickup a fast food pizza, this is completely unacceptable phone service. I ended up cancelling the order after 20 minutes because I had to leave, and received quite a snarky call "confirming my decision to cancel the order" within a minute of cancelling via the call center. It's amazing that I'm out front, order placed, additional tip already added for the person to walk to my car in the rain and everything, and I get no service until moments after I had to cancel via the obnoxious call center.
Additionally, I have also sat in the store for 15 minutes once, and over 20 minutes another time. Mind you, I don't show up until after my time estimate to be safe, this is irrelevant and the store runs behind schedule constantly. Again, this is a fast food pizza chain, with absurd wait times. If I ever sat outside a Macdonald's for 20 minutes I would leave also. While the pizza is quite yummy at pizza hut, it is not a top notch, freshly made product where I expect extra wait times. Do not go unless you are certain you have time to spare because punctuality is not a thing here.
I cannot recommend this place based purely on the lack of customer service and complete inability to reach a worker in the store by phone when you do have any issue, no matter what the issue. Maybe you are understaffed, but you are clearly heavily understaffed, unable to keep up with demand, and have been running this way since the grand opening. I usually go to the store, because I've had really bad experiences with the delivery. I placed my order at 7:57 PM. It is now 10:01 PM. I tried calling the store, but it goes to an automated voicemail that tells you to go to the website and then it hangs up on you! There is no way to get in touch with the store to cancel my $21.80 order that I have yet to receive at 10:02 PM. I just received two text messages saying my order has been picked up by DoorDash - even though I ordered through the mobile app. I called the national customer service and waited about 10 minutes before speaking with a person who struggled with English as a first language. It was very hard to understand what she was saying and vice versa. Calling them only made me more irritated and at this point I am HANGRY!! She offered no actual assistance. She couldn't even get a working number for the location. It is now 10:05 PM and I am beyond angry. I literally cannot go pick up my pizza and this is my first experience dealing with delivery again. This is not the first disappointment. Even when I pick up my order, the person at the counter is all-ways confused. Like they cannot find my order or question if I am at the right store?!? NEVER AGAIN!!! I will have Pizza Hut at the rest stops like I usually do. DiGiorgio it is! It's 10:12 PM and still no food!

Read moreAt one point we We’re active Pizza Hut customers, but after an incident, we stopped using Pizza Hut several years ago. Yesterday, my wife suggested we try a meat lovers from Pizza Hut. I ordered it along with some side item. I called and asked if I could get a tiny bit of caramelized onions, and a container to put on my pizza; explaining my wife is allergic to onions, and I have to do it that way the clerk who answered the phone perplexed because I had to request three times and then I asked, I speak to somebody. She spoke to somebody and that person seemed annoyed when they got on the phone. I explained again what I wanted, and was told “we don do dat.” Any other restaurant we use, they gladly accommodate. I even offered to pay for the onions and I was told the same thing. When I arrived, I told him my name was Joe, followed by “ on the guy that called about the onions.” One of the girls in the store glared at me the entire time I waited. I got my pizza outside and took a look to make sure there were no onions on it and was astonished to find out that the pizza was the size of other stores medium pizzas for over $20 that I paid. I had paid a 13% tip when I ordered online and they sure took that tip. If I didn’t known, I was gonna get the snarky treatment and refuse my request. I would never have given them a tip, and we always tip.
