Update: no call back from Jamie, I called 11 days later and there was no resolution because I didn't have a receipt from 30 days ago. Had she reached out sooner than 3 weeks later I would probably still have it. So I lost money because of their shortcomings. I remember where i sat, I offered to come in and show where I sat to help identify the Waitress.. she said "you wanna do that over nachos" basically insulting my poverty status. Glad you can afford to lose money Jamie but some families aren't as lucky.
ORIGINAL REVIEW Got nachos, asked for no olives pretty simple request. They had olives on them when we got them. They did not offer to remake or refund the nachos. I send an email to the email on their website and no reply or action taken. Food is good but will not return because of this service experience.
I've been asked to edit my review by Jamie the manager. After posting this review I sent a second email(3 weeks after initial visit)and got a reply. They apologized and asked me to call, I called at our agreed time no one answered. I called again hours later and I got ahold of the person named in the email(Jamie). They didn't know who I was and wanted to know what I was calling about, I explained the situation, they asked for more details and a copy of my receipt from May 16th which nearly a month later I no longer have. And asked for my name and number to call me back about the incident, it's been 5 days since then and no one has called me back to resolve this issue. Will update again if this ever...
Read moreEverything was delicious! We had a little bit of just about everything they had to offer. Ribeye steak, soup, salad, reuben, most of the kids items and the fish.
The steak was cooked perfectly medium - as ordered, the add-on mushrooms and onions were well cooked and savory, the reuben was one of the best we've ever had (we've had a LOT), the soup was just delicious and creamy, the salads were really fancy and so very fresh, the fish tasted very fresh and was cooked very well, the kids spaghetti was a very large portion and that and the breadstick were gobbled up very quickly, the quesadilla was as good as a cheese quesadilla could be - and he got full and couldn't finish it, the grilled cheese was monstrous and very crispy and cheesy, the hamburger was a good size and was clearly enjoyed, the French fries and sweet potato fries were so delicious and were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and last but not least, the cheese curds were the real cheese curds and were absolutely fantastic.
We were all around extremely pleased with the food, and the service was also very good. I wish it was a little cheaper, but it's prices are comparable to most other places of like kind. Our total cost was 125 after tip for a group of 3 adults and 4 kids. I'll definitely be taking the family back again - as we can...
Read moreWe travel frequently to the Backyard Grill about 30 miles from our home in Green Lake. Usually on Friday nights. Last night we decided let’s try out a Tuesday. After almost always being happy with the food and friendly employees I am sorry to say it was not so good. The waitress was very nice. The food was not. No point in going into too many details but the salad was old and rusty which was quite obvious but the waitress served it anyway. I know we should have said something right then but we both kinda laughed and said oh well no big deal. Our main courses both took way longer than normal to arrive maybe 30 minutes. Once again no big deal. My wife had the ribs. Oh boy not good at all looked and tasted dry and old. The walleye which is my favorite was pretty fishy and way under cooked. My wife maybe ate 1/2. And left the rest. Just really wanted owners to know so they can correct before it gets to be a problem. I did notice the owner must have had the evening off which he is certainly entitled to. To be honest we have had this happen to us in the past but after a while we come back and I am this will again be the case. This review is given with our best intentions of helping management to become aware of a somewhat dissatisfied customer and an opportunity to make things the way they should be...
