TL;DR: Food was great, service was very slow.

I'll start off by saying that the food is amazing and i would recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal and generous portions! My wife and I entered and stood awkwardly at the door not really sure what to do. A waitress asked if it was our first time and we nodded and she kindly asked us to sit anywhere we liked. We took a seat and we're quickly treated to warm crispy tortilla chips and an excellent salsa that was a little sweet from the tomatoes and just the right amount of spicy. The waitress took our drink request and brought them out almost immediately. We looked through our menus, decided what we wanted and then we waited... And waited... And waited... For what seemed like forever. It was probably about 15 min before a waitress finally noticed us and came to take our order of 2 wet burritos. She came back out of the kitchen in maybe 7 minutes with our order. Making up for lost time! These burritos were excellent! My wife tried the green sauce with shredded beef and i had the red sauce with grilled chicken. Served with a little guac and some sour cream on the side. Huge portions big enough to share but we were up for a challenge. Half way through the burritos we had run out of chips and waitresses would walk past us, never stopping to ask us anything or offer refills. I had noticed the chips and salsa near the entrance when we arrived but was unsure if i could serve myself. So i managed to get a hold of a waitress and asked if I could serve myself without getting in trouble, she smiled and said "yes, of course!” great! Endless chips and salsa! Topped off the bowl and back to the delicious burrito! We finally finished eating and waited again for our check to pay up n be on our way. Waitress came by and took our plates, no check. All the waitresses disappeared for a solid 15 min at this point. We had finished our meal and were just sitting there waiting to pay. Finally managed to ask someone for bill, got up, paid at the front counter and left. Now, I know i could have stopped someone, or gone up to someone and ask for help at anytime but I that i dont like when my customers do that to me at my job so i dont like doing it to others. However, good service is extremely important and I feel like the service could have been far greater than it was. For being such a small restaurant with maybe 15 tables and 3 waitresses at the time, the amount of time we had to wait for simple service was...

This is my 5 -star Mexican restaurant, we have been enjoying their Excellent food fares for more than 3 years, when you become a (regular customer ) your treated like family ,for the occasional diner the service is excellent and that's why we will always keep coming back, we have never had an unfavorable experience and are always greeted with a heart felt welcome ,excellent food excellent service ,they have been upgrading their dining room with paint, pictures, tables, chairs, booths and most recently, brand new pendant lighting above the tables nice touch . My girlfriend recently had a birthday, without my or her knowledge the server, geo, comes out from the back of the restaurant along with the cook, and other staff ,wielding a slice of extravagant cheesecake drizzled with chocolate sauce with a lit candle and proceeded to sing her Happy Birthday! That simple and thoughtful act of generosity and kindness and the fact that they even remembered her Birthday brought so much joy to her ! That is why Casa Barreto will be our restaurant for life ! You guys are the best ! Floyd Gross &Mary...

Awesome food and excellent prices. We are usually a coupon-using family but we feel bad even using coupons here because the prices are already a great deal. The waitresses are always friendly and attentive, even when the place is busy. They have a great salsa bar with lots of options. You get free chips when you come in. We’ve tried a lot options on the menu. The asada plate and tacos are good, the meat has that bbq/charbroiled hint of flavor. The carnitas tacos and sopes. They make the carnitas crunchy/well done, which I like. The mole plate. The mole tastes good but It feels as if the shredded chicken has a bit of water to it, which kind of waters down the mole. The tilapia combination and several shrimp combinations are good, well cooked, good flavor, nice presentation, cheap price, big portions of the sides. What else can you ask for?!. Always taste great. The only thing that isn’t so great is the birria. Idk if it just not a style I’m used to, or if it’s the one thing they...

Very nice and clean. Small neighborhood Mexican restaurant on Sierra avenue in Fontana. The staff is very informative and knows what they're doing and they do it well. They served chips with salsa and pico de gallo before our ordering. I had three taquitos with rice and beans at lunch for $10.99. very filling and delicious and a reasonable price for lunch. My friend had a Ranchero Burrito for the same price. In fact all their lunch menu items are $10.99. they have special dinner pricing as well for the same price. Stop in and say hi and have a delicious meal. The actual parking lot is only for a few cars but there is a city lot behind the building that has plenty of parking and a Citibank bank next door. Sorry I didn't take pictures of the food before I ate. Although I did take pictures of the menu.

The food is usually delisicious. I've been coming here for 10 years. I had to wipe down my own booth when we first arrived. This time the wet burrito was dry, our server only took our orders and never came back except to give the check. I received a bent fork. People who came in after us were served fresh chip and salsa, and they were asked how they were doing at least 6 times within the 45 minutes we were there. My server was Albert and the whole atmosphere makes me want to never go back again. Im not sure if they're under new management but I was very dissappointed. Did I mention I'm a black woman ;)🤔

I always come back for the Chile poblano, even though I've moved farther away. Incredible flavor, such a great cheesy, creamy sauce that accompanies the seafood well. Beans and rice are decent, not the best, but not bad and homemade tortillas are on point. One of my favorite seafood dishes, I find myself craving this frequently 😋😍🔥
