Panaderia Maria — Restaurant in Fontana

I have been a customer of Maria’s since they opened on Arrow and Juniper. I went in this morning to get some peanut butter cookies (my favorite). I was in line and 2 people were ahead of me. It was my turn to be served and the cashier heard a song come on and started to dance toward the kitchen. I was going ok with that because I can understand a good song coming on does that. So, after about 1-2 minutes she comes to the front and asks what I want. I show her and she gets them. Upon paying for my items, I go to hand her my debit card and she snatches it out of my hand. I thought maybe it was just her rushing, so I said nothing. But then after my card paid, she just throws my card and receipt on the counter. At first I was just going to leave and not say anything, but I went back in to take a photo of her to show management who she was when I they are in. So there would be no mistake on which employee I was referring to. After I took her picture. She told me “no video in here. I told her that I was taking her picture to show to management for her rude service and attitude. She yelled at me “you are rude”! Needless to say... I will take my business to Leslie’s bakery until they get someone who treats customers...

Let me start by saying that I'm not one to leave bad reviews. Don't waste your time trying to place a cake order from this bakery. I went to this bakery back in January, I waited in line and when I get to the register and try to place my cake order I was turned down and told to come at a later day due to this being their rush hour and could not take my cake order. I understand and left. Fast forward to late June, I drove to the bakery on a Friday at noon to place my cake order. No line, no customers. I walk to the counter and tried placing my cake order I was turned down again! I was told to come the week of the event and to come on a Wednesday mid morning hours. So many requirements just to place a cake order. I thought I give them another chance of earning my business, but I was wrong. Will never again purchase anything from this establishment let alone attempt to order a cake. Bad...

We ordered a$300+ 3 layer cake that ended in disaster. They did not offer delivery and they gave us the the cake already assembled. They did not provide us with any boxes or any help in terms of trays to help us transport. The top portion of the cake completely slid off in mid transport. It was not sturdy enough to handle the journey. They even charged us for a tray that would help us just carry the cake out form their fridge.

The cake tasted very good and looked great but I do not recommend buying multi layered cakes from them as they do not provide transportation or provide any other type of support for getting it...
