Culichi's VIP — Restaurant in Fontana

Let me start by saying I have been here 3 times now. So, this review is not based off one visit. The first visit the food was decent. Maybe a 3 star. The mariscos were decent. The second time I came there. We came there like 45 mins before they closed. I ordered some basic Mexican food. Carne asada tacos and a shrimp plate. Carne asada was ground beef and dry as hell. They served everyone on the table but me last. Took all 45 mins even though I ordered within 5 mins of being there because I was being rushed. As soon as my food came they handed me the check and hurried me. The food was dry as hell the shrimp had no meat.

My friend used to work there. So she reached out to the manager owner and told her how bad our experience was. He told her that he would give her and me free shots. Next time we came there, so I was like ok. We came in a big group this last time 30 people. What a mess. I spent $200 or mariscos and drinks. The mariscos were super fishy. I should’ve sent them back. My mistake. Now I got a stomachache and I been feeling sick since I got home last night. I was laying down and went to sleep because I thought I was going to throw up. People ordered salmon cooked and got raw salmon. Chicken orders were undercooked. Let me tell you. I payed for all my shots too. Owner came by and acted like he forgot. I’m not gonna sit there and remind someone when they promise free shots when I come in. If you look at the yelp reviews. Those are a lot more accurate. 4 stars has to be fake. This place is expensive for what it is and terrible. You guys need to fix your stuff before someone calls a health department on you. Culichi VIP what...

Came here for the first time, I live near this place and never thought about coming here until today, I felt adventurous. First thought about this place is that it has great potential. The food is a bit on the high end but that's ok if you can back it up with quality. Sorry to say it came a little short. I did return my food (undercooked), but the taste was good. ..wish it was perfectly cooked. The service did make a change with humbleness, thank you for that. I ordered something else. ...it was good. Potential areas: Tighten up food quality and presentation Servers, know the menu and details like...when is happy hour. ..if any. Look around for costumers. Hire people to clean, your waitress should not be cleaning, serving, attending. Asking for too much there. Napkins please...you only get one A knife is sometimes needed Hot sauce..the basics (tapatio, etc) The house sauce needs to be better in quality and presence. ..get a bowl or better. Chips were mostly crumbs. The environment is great, bar has a great setup, plenty of tvs. Parking is great Restroom light needs attention.

Guys, it's the little things. I want to see you succeed. We need restaurants like yours. That being said....I will return. ....good luck. You have the potential to be awesome. Fontana people give them a shot, and help them reach their goals. 3...

Completely horrible customer service. Went in tonight to have dinner with my family. 2 adults & 5 children. 1st, the guy at the door doesn't know how to communicate or navigate the foot traffic. Girls in the front said they had an event going on with a $300 min or a bottle. Agreed & said not a problem. After waiting 30 min. Went to check on our table & was told, since you're a big party, you need 2 tables which is a $600 dollar min or 2 bottles. A guy came out, asked if we were all adults, told him no & we're not drinkers but I'd agree to a 500 min. Guy in charge said ok. A woman came up next & asked me to make up my mind if we were going to stay or not. Told her I had already told the guy yes. They than take us to the opposite side and say, this side has no min. The min wasn't the issue. The table they showed us was clearly not big enough for 7 people. It was in the corner and the chairs they put there didn't even fit. We didn't know who was performing. It would of been more reasonable to charge an entrance fee and tell people who was scheduled to perform versus trying to squeeze a family that already agreed to pay you 500...
