Below is a detailed review. In short – Zero customer service, four attempts to call regarding an issue, zero return calls. Sacrificed price for integrity. Will never return. Discount Furniture, Discount Service.
In January of 2016 I went to Pena furniture. I had previously purchased a bed from them and believed I got a fair deal on a good bed. After shopping at a major competitor, I decided to see if Pena had what I was looking for at a better price. My wife and I walked in and spoke with Levi. We spoke about various things including why we were return customers and why we believed other people shopped at the large competitors. In all my wife spent about my wife and I spent about an hour at Pena with Levi. My wife and I decided to purchase a bed and end tables. We spent around 15 minutes discussing options and pricing. After settling on color and items, we began to finalize the purchase. I believed I had made the right decision in purchasing with Levi. But then the items were delivered and assembled.
On the bed frame, a single drawer is off to the right. It is a noticeable amount that is doomed to be kicked and cause immediate and lasting damage to the frame and the drawer because the slider is crooked. The first attempt to reach him was directly. My wife went to the store and discussed the matter with Levi. My wife found that Levi had taken our advice and rearranged the store to what we believed other customers liked. He thanked my wife for the advice and said he’s already seen more business. He then told my wife how to remove the drawer to see if we could adjust it.
After discovering that we could not adjust it without potentially damaging it, we called Levi again. First we were told he’d call us back in a few minutes. When he did not we called him again the next day. Levi said he would send out the assembly people to repair the problem and would call us when he knew when they could come by. Levi never returned our call. The next day, I called Levi and the female who answered the call said Levi would call my back after leaving my name. He did not. The next day a similar sounding female said the Levi was taking a “nap” and that he would return our call. He did not.
Alas, Discount furniture seems to come with the standards discount service. My wife most often called Levi and was amiable the whole time, never once blaming anyone and always being cordial and polite. When the assemblers were working she asked them not to rush but surely when that drawer was put it, they noticed it was wrong as I noticed it immediately.
Levi had four or five opportunities to follow-up with us and fix a problem he or his people created. I walked into Pena as a return customer and promised Levi that he’d get all referrals from us. We gave him incite about competitors that he used to his advantage. We were excellent customers. But now Levi will get no further business. Customer service matters more than price. If Levi can offer you a better price (maybe - maybe not) then he will sacrifice his integrity and service to do so. I would not recommend this company...

We went in one day to look at a mattress my husband chose one we filled out the paperwork the employee of course as their job try to sell us something more expensive but of course we didn't as we write everything down of course my husband does not talk Spanish that good and the employee did not talk English good as well at the end of the day we left the down payment of 150 $100 for the mattress and $50 for the delivery we went on a Thursday and they said on Tuesday they were going to deliver Tuesday came and nothing my husband called them to see what was going on they told him he had a go he went they told him that the mattress he got they could not sell it to him because we did the paperwork wrong and the financial did not let them sell us the mattress so of course we got mad they tried to sell us something weight cheaper but of course it was nothing compared to the mattress we wanted. I asked for my money back I just did not want to deal with them and the manager said they could not give me the money back because the money went to the finance person which I believe it was a lie at the end of the day we kept the mattress we wanted it's a good quality we've been having it for 3 months still feels like new oh and also the girl that had to put all the information in the computer actually made my husband put all his information in which I think it's totally unprofessional how are you going to make a customer put their information in the computer just because they do not know how to type English well. Save your time and money just go anywhere else but here this was the last time I got something from this place yes some things are cheap but not worth it I got the mattress I want it 2 weeks after I rather go somewhere else that it's expensive but I know I will get what I want and will not have any...
Read moreHorrible customer service and parts were missing from order. I had to make five trips on their request every time, saying that they had my order. I had to borrow a truck every time, and when I would get there they didn't have the order. I took the whole order in different pieces because of this. Somehow I was at fault for them not having the order when I would arrive. About three months passed by before I opened the furniture. I was surprised to find that the furniture was different colors. I called and spoke with the manager "Levi", and he was stating that they wouldn't exchange them due to the period of time since my purchase. I described to him that how is this my fault, and they were put away in a garage fully packaged. They took three days to get the furniture in to exchange, and when I went to pick it up I over heard the employees speaking in Spanish, they didn't realize that I speak spanish, that I didn't have a choice in the color. My wife also over heard another customer complaining that they also recieved furniture that was the wrong color. The employee helping these customers was also trying everything possible not to exchange them. They were going to just force me to take whatever they wanted to give me even though it was their error.
