The ice cream is good. We usually get a decent serving. The customer service needs work. I believe in CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you don't have good customer service, I don't need to support your business.
First, I asked to try two types of ice cream, which I rarely do. We are a family of 5, and right away she notified me I could only try 3 flavors. I get it if they had been busy, but they were not at all. Also, I wasn't planning on getting more than those two flavors to try out.
Second, they close at 9pm and they were already giving us a 5 minute warning to leave at 8:50pm because they need to clean. I understand they still need to clean. I have worked food service before. My understanding is that if a business says they close at 9 pm, that's when the last customer is allowed to come in and order. We left at 8:55pm when they again reminded us they needed to clean. It really bothers me when a business wants you to leave before closing time. I let the lady know that it was 8:55pm and therefore don't close until 9pm. I also told her that customers should be able to come in and ask for service right before they close.
I'm sure there is plenty that they can clean ahead of time without rushing the customers that contribute to their pay. Her excuse was they needed to clean the table. We were the only ones in there at this time. She had already cleaned all the other tables. There's not that many tables either to begin with. It doesn't take very long to wipe down one table; I've done it a million times. We were close to finishing our tostilocos. Nope, now we gotta carry them home and eat them soggy. I also informed her that if they expect customers to leave earlier then they need to update their closing time. If you close at 9 pm it is my belief that customers should be able to order at 8:59pm and have their ice cream peacefully without interruptions or being basically kicked out. Third, the cleaning of the front house should happen after they close not 30 minutes before. They are risking an accident by mopping all around us while we are trying to enjoy our last bit of dessert. That's another thing: safety. They are not thinking about the safety of their customers. I felt like an inconvenience to them instead of a customer or guest. Please close 8pm if you want your customers to be out by 9pm. You didn't allow us to enjoy our dessert and you had plenty of down time to clean because it wasn't busy. Husband loves to go there because of the portions, however I will not be driving out of my way to this location when there are closer ones to our house to be kicked out simply because they want to go home at 9pm when they are still supposed to be open. So if you choose to go to this location...go early or choose a different one. I really hope the other locations are not like this otherwise I will keep posting and going to other ice cream shops there are so many to choose from. And finally, their tostilocos need a better ratio. We ordered the large container. One bag of tostitos is not enough for that large container. We had to buy an additional one to adjust it. There were way too many cueritos and not enough peanuts, jicama, and cucumber. I can tell they are not taking pride in the work they do and only there for the pay check; just...
Read moreI went in today December 6, 2020 around 2:30pm to buy an agua fresca. The young lady that “helped” me was very rude. I asked what size drinks they had and all she did was point at some cups on the counter and said “their right there” I asked what flavors do you have she said “their right there” . As a frequent customer, that was the worst customer service i have received at this location. Her job is to tell me the prices and sizes as well as flavors of waters. She was really rude to me and gave me attitude. I decided not to buy from here anymore. I will not being going back either.

Read moreThe food is good but pricey. I bought a cone for my daughter and got charged like $1.50 or $1.75 extra cause it was dipped in chocolate, mind you the double scoop is almost like $8 or something like that. Rather just go to the grocery store and buy the stuff myself. What bothered me is that I wasn't told or seen the price increase for dipped in chocolate until I paid I noticed the extra charge, their was already a price set on their for the cones, why not list or say it's extra for dipped cones? I ended up paying under $18 for a tostiesquite and double...
