On initial walk on we were greeted immediately by a very friendly person. The option for chips and salsa fir the table was very welcomed but at an extra charge. The Horchata was just right. The chips are fresh although I felt they lacked flavor and weren't as good as I'd hoped. The red and green salsa are nice however very spicy for a guy like myself who suffers from heart burn. I wished they had a salsa fresca option that was more of traditional cantina taste. Mariachi fills the clean dining room until your order pleasantly surprises you by arriving very fast. I ordered the chicken chimichanga with a Verde sauce stripe that came with beans and rice. It was absolutely the best chimi I have ever tasted. My taste buds could not believe the amount of flavor of not only the very appearantly fresh chicken, cheese, and fried tortilla shell but the beans and rice as well. I immediately could tell that the tortilla outer was made with the freshest and homemade tortilla that was loaded with flavor. I needed to excuse myself and use the restroom and I did see that there is alot of scratched tag weighting all over the equipment and walls and I had to walk around some mistery liquid as I aimed for the potty. All in all 5 stars and I would like to suggest adding karaoke and upgrading the chips and...
Read moreJust got home with the takeout order for me and my wife, we ordered two shrimp tacos for my wife and a shredded beef burrito for me with the rice and beans on the side instead of inside, it's sad to say but my burrito was 1/3 smaller size that usual. I know what you're going to say, "that's because the rice and beans weren't inside the burrito" well I've always ordered this burrito this way, because if you go to any traditional Mexican restaurant they always have the beans and rice on the side and because in my opinion it taste better. It looks like to me they were trying to save money by giving smaller portions, pretty disappointing when you have more tortilla than burrito. I did call the manager and told them what had happened and I explained to him I wouldn't mind paying extra if the burrito is still the same size the way they used to be. First thing you said sometimes there's over sites by the cook., instead of saying is there any way that I can fix this. I recommend if you get an order to go at this restaurant take a moment to check your order before you leave just to make sure that it is...
