Magic Wok — Restaurant in Fontana

Well this was my first time here and I must say maybe it was just the wrong time of day. Well the service was good but the food was not hot and fresh like you would want it to be. The only thing on the plate that was hot was the white rice. Other than that the broccoli beef was not hot or the teriyaki chicken . The taste of the food was good. For a two item plate and a large drink it was $9.71 . Now I'm from LA and I have eaten at lots of Chinese fast food restaurants before. So the plate in my opinion was small. I did eat all of it because I don't like to waist food. I felt like asking them to microwave the plate.I will return one day and see if anything was different. I came about 2pm during the day. The food at this place is fantastic. So much better in my opinion than Panda Express. Yet the minions continue to go to Panda and this place remains relatively empty. However, the owners themselves, have not yet recovered mentally from the COVID pandemic and probably never will. There is plastic everywhere and only two seats available for indoor dining. And I'm not talking about a small plastic drop by the cash register, I'm referring to "boy in the plastic bubble", heavy tape and heavy plastic separating you from the entire kitchen. It is difficult to hear and understand the person behind the counter because of her mask and all of the plastic. No doubt all of this contributes to the lack of business...

Terrible customer service!! I asked for 2 orders of fresh Honey Shirmp she gives me my bowls and I have a mix of both cold and hot Shirmp. Worst part of all my noodles were covered in cold mayo sauce from the Honey Shirmp. So at this point I am very angry that I chose to go back to Magic Poop after finding YUMMY PANDA, I had to ask for a refund she refused and said she would remake the shirmp which is what I asked for in the beginning! And I insisted that I wanted a refund and she finally gave me my money back... Very dissatisfied customer never going back!! BTW try YUMMY PANDA on the corner of Mulberry...
