It's our first time at this location. It's along Sierra Lakes so we decided to try here. We usually go to Baseline Rialto location-customer service wise at Rialto location not so bad (they should learn to smile though), food ok, place very clean and bigger.
While our recent visit at this location-place not well kept, tables not wiped (sad)- floors and walls with marks-had to wait to ask from one of the staff to clean it up, after a few minutes, someone came and without any clue, she wiped it.
Orders came late and not complete. My daughter and I had to come to the counter a couple of times to ask for whatever we need. Sorry - but we had to.
My fave sugar cane tea tasted water. I felt very frustrated because this is my only fave drink besides coffee.
We were running out of time so we were not able to finish eating all our food-we ended up getting a box. The staff gave a box without a plastic bag so I advised my daughter to sit down and I'll be the one to ask for it which I did. Sorry but I had to. I got a toddler and it's easier to carry it in a bag rather than in a box.
I went to the counter to ask and the same person gave me a small plastic so I said thank you and headed back to our table. I tried fitting the box in in the plastic but it won't so I had to go back to the counter and asks for a bigger plastic and again I had to explain why so I said it won't fit; the same staff said "it fits," so without asking me a permission, she put my box upside down to fit in the plastic- I got so frustrated that after fixing the food with care so it will not get mixed inside the box ; it's so easy for her to turn it upside down.
I did try containing myself and be calm but doing that after experiencing the above issues-
At the end, I asked for a bigger plastic just enough for the medium sized box she gave us- she gave us a very big plastic bag.
I can feel that there's a customer/ staff struggling which I can't stand anymore so I spoke to the manager and he did the same thing.
First bad experience at POpeyes ever. I felt very bad because my daughter was so excited to eat at Popeyes as this is her fave chicken food stop.
Popeyes in Baseline Rialto - you're the BEST!!!! Kept it up.
Oh special shout out to the cook of Popeyes Sierra Lakes Branch-our food was well cooked and prepared with extra care. Fries color, texture and taste- so...
Read moreIf I can check a negative star for this place I would. Takes way way way too long for a fast food restaurant. It took more than 40 minutes just to get a 2 piece combo and a 3 tender combo with apple pies. Once I got a chance to order I was trying to place an order for 2 apple pies spicy chicken pieces and a 12 piece chicken nuggets. After I paid cashier stated there was no nuggets and if we were okay with tenders. We said it was okay but not even a minute later she stated there was no spicy chicken. Why would you make the customer pay if you had nothing in the menu that the customer wanted (previous customer complained because they ordered macaroni and paid but then they didn’t have any to serve)? Once we received our cups it just kept getting worse. I asked for their famous sweet tea but didn’t have any. My boyfriend asked for their mango lemonade but guess what, they didn’t have that either! We settled for the soda machine no ice there. We tried to get sprite and orange soda but it was all water. At that point we were just over it and thought it couldn’t get worse. We waited for about 30 more minutes, we got our food and sat. I asked the lady for hot sauce and ranch but they were out of that too! No utensils or napkins were given and by then we were annoyed. We didn’t finish eating and decided we should go home. I wanted to eat my apple pie on the way so before we left I decided to eat one. As I was bitting the pie it was nit what I ordered but a blueberry one instead. Because I already paid for this I went to complain and had to wait another 10 minutes for the ones I ordered. I would have left but I spent over $30 and I was not planning on giving them free money on something I really wanted. The lady gave me new pies and was friendly but I don’t care how much I enjoy those apple pies it’s not worth it. Service needs to improve and management needs to get their sh** together. I don’t recommend this place you will waste more time waiting than...
Read moreI've been in here several times and each time it's been the same thing so one star is a little bit too much I wish I was able to mark down zero Stars and I'll go to the extent of negative Stars and I used to work in the food industry I'm not someone that is picking on the food workers I understand exactly what they're going through and still no excuse for no acknowledgment at the door after waiting more than 5 minutes purposely avoiding eye contact only servicing their drive thru there's been different people working each time I've gone in and I get the same results what exactly is Popeye's Chicken teaching these people to do as far as how to treat customers I mean even acknowledge that they exist and that they're there and don't purposely avoid eye contact or speaking of any kind trying to get someone's attention just to ask a question is hard enough unless you want to be rude and yell at them with their backs to you as I said before I work in the food industry for more than 15 years this is not how it's supposed to go I get it it's busy you got a long drive through line but you need to prioritize and communication goes a long way hello how are you I'll be right with you is usually a great thing to say when you can't get to someone right away but want them to know that you know they are there waiting for you. So again I say what is Popeye's training their workers I could not believe it I waited there for 10 minutes with no one acknowledging the line of people in the store they were only servicing the drive through not smart it's unacceptable and I won't do business here until I hear that this has changed in the workers are attentive to both the drive-thru and people walking through their door. So get it together Popeye's chicken Sierra likes parkway Fontana companies should pay a professional that specializes in customer service to get in there and teach these people on the basics of communication and how effective that tool can be in...
