The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf — Restaurant in Fontana

Went today and was treated SO poorly, not sure what is wrong with this location and the girls working here because I’ve been going to coffee bean for forever and never experienced this before! Sucks that I will be avoiding this place going forward and letting everyone else know. I felt that the girl who made our order wrong THREE times, did it on purpose because she gave me SO much attitude and huffed and puffed as I was letting her know “how to” make my drink. Which mind you, I just wanted caramel on top of the drink. NOT even something difficult or crazy/ out of the ordinary. She just chose to be RUDE about it. It was my mom’s first time there and even she says she’s never going to get their coffee ever again. I did contact the corporate office because it really felt that the employees could not care less about good customer service or just being kind for a 2-minute interaction that’s all. I work in the public too and I would NEVER treat anyone this way. We work hard for our money and choose where to spend it and to be treated this way and have someone roll their eyes and huff at you because they do not want to make your coffee right for you when it’s literally in their job description? Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is a well-known coffee chain, frequented by many for its wide range of beverages and light bites. During my recent morning visit, I opted for a macchiato and a chorizo burrito, both of which unfortunately did not meet my expectations.

The macchiato lacked the robust flavor I was anticipating, and the chorizo burrito was similarly underwhelming. Despite the promising menu descriptions, both items fell short in delivering the full-bodied taste and satisfaction that one would expect from a coffee shop of this caliber.

However, I must commend the staff for their friendliness. They were personable and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere that somewhat offset the disappointment in the food and drink. The service, though, was a bit slow, particularly for a morning rush when customers are often in a hurry.

In conclusion, my experience at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf was a bit of a mixed bag. While the friendly staff was a plus, the quality of the food and drink, coupled with the slow service, left room for improvement. I usually go here to study and get into it, however, I stopped going here only because I’m frustrated with the lack of communication surrounding the status of the wifi established. When I logged into the wifi, my computer can’t connect to the system, because I had to register into the system. While I did told a barista about it 2-3 months ago, I have yet to see any updates as to when they’ll fix it and if it has been fixed. I hope that the manager (whom I know is someone nice and reasonable) gets to the bottom of it ASAP.

One thing, when I tried to order a PSL days before CB made it official months ago, one of the baristas made me another drink and when I asked where’s my PSL, she said that I had to “order it on the app”, I was wondering we does it had to be order on the app.

Nonetheless, I think there’s some decent baristas, but I think the store needed some fixes, especially whenever someone tries to solicit inside the store and bother other customers, I say this with respect cuz know there were some who aren’t threatening, but idk.

So yeah, please get your wifi fixed and update when is it ok to to sign in...
