I really wanted to like this place! And I finally had a weekday off to try it so I bought a few things to make the most of my visit. I spent $50 on the PLT, a brownie bite, a lemon square, and the small take home tettrazini and breakfast casserole. The PLT bread was hard and the provolone was paper thin and jagged, hardly any flavor. Cole slaw was really good though! I thought they had redeemed themselves when I baked the take home dinner that night, it was really good with a little salt and pepper! But the breakfast casserole the next morning was watery and terrible. There are no dates, ingredients or nutritional facts on the take home items so beware.. This is a sweet little sandwich shop. The gentleman at the front counter is always friendly and the food is delicious! My favorite is their chicken salad which is very finely chopped. It’s delicious on their house salad. They have their own dressing which includes dill and is so refreshing. It’s worth a try!

Sometimes the service is a bit slow, but just be patient because the food is worth it and they are working diligently to prepare the order.

I love Lillians but was extremely disappointed last week to see how drastically they've cut the portion of chicken salad on the green salad option. It was barely a tablespoonful! So in effect, I paid $17 for a plate of lettuce, a tablespoonful of pasta salad, and a tablespoonful of fruit, and a cup of iced tea. That is outrageous. I would be embarrassed to hand a customer something like that. Realizing food prices have increased, I would prefer that they be honest about their pricing (raise them) and portions than to be treated that way. Sadly, I won't be back, as great as...
