BUYER BEWARE!!!!! What looks like an awesome trendy home furnishing store on the surface is simply nothing more than junk with a large price tag. I'm all for buying local and supporting local businesses but apparently this is not valued or appreciated by the owner! We bought a pricey console table with a distressed black stain 2.5 years ago from here. Recently, a glass of room temperature water was accidentally left on it over night. When I moved the glass and wiped up the condensation with a paper towel, the black paint came off in a perfect circle where the glass had been, additionally exposing an original finish that had been repainted with the black stain. I have never seen this happen before on any piece of furniture! I called Strobler and was first given the name and number of a "reasonably priced" repair man that WE could pay to fix the console. When I told them this was unacceptable, it was simply a glass of water left on the table and it didn't leave a ring but literally took off the finish, I was asked to email pictures of the console, which I did. However, the reply I got was the table was almost 3 years old and I must have had some secret chemical in the water or on the glass that eats paint! Guess we all need to be really careful and check what's in the city water supply!! This is absolutely ridiculous! Goodwill has better quality furniture. I'm very disappointed in not only the quality of products but also in the owner that she wouldn't stand behind the products she sells and help her local clientele when there is a problem with something purchased from her store. Needless to say, she was less than helpful. And I wish I could say mine was the only experience like this, but it's not! My sister bought a gorgeous looking pricey ottoman from there and had it shipped to her home out of state. Her two year old literally sat on it and it fell apart... IT WAS MADE OF CARDBOARD!!!! To their credit, they did replace it with another one, but again it fell apart within a month! My sister didn't bother asking for another replacement. I highly recommend going...
Read moreI have been shopping with Strobler for many years and most of my furniture by far has come from Strobler. I get many many compliments all the time and my furniture feels warm, cozy, and welcoming. It has held up so very well and looks great all through the years. I am now looking for additions to put in my place and I am finding such beautiful things to add to the feeling of warmth and functionality. I have been working with Eveda, who is the sweetest girl in the world. She has been helping me nonstop and could not be nicer and more helpful. She is such a great addition to Strobler and my go to girl for everything. I am thrilled with Strobler in every way, and in my opinion, it is the best furniture and accessory store in Columbia,...
Read moreMy husband and I visited Strobler's yesterday. We are new to the area and have been searching for a good furniture store with quality transitional and chic furnishings. Upon entering the store we were greeted by a sales associate who informed us of the sales and who offered to assist us. Each sales person that passed us spoke and offered to help us. We found the furnishings to be high quality and fairly priced. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the furniture. Although we didn't make a purchase, we did make an appointment for a design consultant to come to our home to do an assessment. There is no doubt, this will be our go to furniture store...
