Miyos Forest Drive. I've been a regular for a long time. I have been having a rough week at work and a particularly difficult day yesterday. I had a headache and decided to order a sushi roll, some egg drop soup, and tempura vegetables to pick up on the way home from work. I get there and the guy, Nick S., apologized for being kind of short on the phone because another customer was on the other line upset about some issue from lunch. No problem, I said. Checked out and he handed me two bags. I got home. Set the bags down, and took a quick shower and put on my pj's. It was just that kind of day. I go to eat my food and no sushi roll. I checked all the containers. I called Miyos and another guy answered. I explained the situation. He checked and sure enough my roll was sitting somewhere. I told him I needed it delivered, as I was no longer dressed. He refused and told me I could come get it. Nope. I said I wanted a refund. Nope. He said he could give me store credit for the role. Honestly, is there no real customer service out there anymore? So, I told him to give me the manager. Not one there. Ok, have the manager call me tonight. Nope. No call. Still no call today either. So, I decided to go back over there, even though it's in the opposite direction of the grocery I needed to go to. Well, Nick is there again. He asked if I wanted my roll. No, I want a refund and handed him my receipt. He looks at it and says he can't refund the entire meal and then asks me where the food is and if I ate it all. Seriously?! Yeah, cause the main part of my meal that I paid for wasnt in my bag! I really didnt even know what to say at this guy's rude and unprofessional behavior. I said, fine, just give me my money for the role and Ill leave a bad review. He got really huffy, opened the cash drawer and basically threw $14 at me, which didnt even cover the taxes on the roll. People may think I need to be more understanding, but what is our society coming to if we're paying for things and getting nothing in return. I had to go out of my way to call the restaurant back and then drive back over there to be treated like I did something wrong. I will no longer be a regular as long as Nick S. is there and the management doesn't make this right.
Forgot to say that he also asked why I didnt say something when we went over the order last night. I told him we didnt look at the order and that he just handed me the bags. Again, blaming me. The other guy found the roll sitting there when I...
Read moreOrdered to go for my family on the phone. I ordered kids tenders for my daughter and when I asked if it came with a side I was told rice, I specifically remember for sure because I then asked if I could replace the side with something other than rice as my daughter would eat it, but there are other sides she prefers more. I was told the side of rice couldn't be changed so I said okay, placed the rest of my order and my fiance went in to pick it up. At home we only got rice for mine and my fiances order and not my daughter's so I called back and a woman picked up who advised me the kids tenders do not come with a side, but they charge 7$ for that kid sized amount of only tenders. I requested to speak to Clyde the employee who told me different and when I talked to him he tried to tell me he Said "the kids tender does not come with a side" however my fiance also heard the conversation so I called him out on lying to my face about what he said. I wouldn't have been upset if he told me he just made an error with whats included in that meal, but instead he tried to lie to me because he messed up and his coworker was there to hear so I asked for a manager and told him if it was an error he could have said so instead of trying to lie to me and I would've understood, he then said a manager would not be in until tomorrow and then offered to allow me to come pick up an extra side of rice and stuck to his lie saying "well if you think I said that, you can come get another side of rice" I don't want free things I didn't pay for, but to tell me wrong information and then call me a liar for my confusion on not getting the product, that service was awful. They also left out sauces that come with the fried calamari my husband requested extra of. Food was good otherwise, I shared my rice with...
Read moreToday we celebrated my daughter's graduation luncheon. The five star chefs prepared fresh and delicious foods, and our guests loved the venue and could not stop raving about the taste and quality of the dishes. We received numerous positive compliments and texts from our guests after the event letting us know how much they enjoyed everything. It's evident Miyos infuses fresh ingredients with garden fresh hand cut vegetables, therefore, you will not find this quality and level of quality customer service elsewhere in the area. When it came time to plan the menu, Michelle recommended several dishes and asked me to trust her which turned out to be the best decision for me. When you decide to plan your next event with Michelle, she communicates with you before, during, and after your event while keeping you posted about the meal and time for my guests to arrive. We had enough food for our guests to get second servings and take leftovers home. Be sure to get the rock shrimp appetizer. Overall, I could not have been more elated and pleased with my decision to use Miyos for my daughter's graduation luncheon. Of all the places that contacted me about their venue and food, no one communicated to the level of Michelle and provided 5 star customer service. During our celebration, Michelle and her husband were accommodating and didn't hover over us. Thank you to the chefs and Michelle, for making this one of the most amazing celebratory days...
