It was a wet and stormy Saturday when my friends and I made our way to Pat's Corner. When we got to the small outside bar a warm fire was going and a few seats were open.
Due to Covid there are only 3 tables available. So if you plan on staying indoors it's really just luck if you find a spot. We were lucky to cozy up to the fire and enjoy the atmosphere sheltered from the rain.
The bar is well equipped for drinks. You can order food as well. The woman working the bar (Mathea sp?) was very knowledgeable about her whisky/spirits so I'd definitely recommend picking her brain if you are looking for something special to drink.

"The beers are listed above the bar". Wow, well thank you! bar wench. Weird bc McMens is usually good w service. Food options were bleh, just pub grub. Also a surprise. Nothing interesting at all on their menu. Food quality was meh. Pizza crust covered in cornmeal. Bleh. If you happen to work there and are hanging out at the bar after your shift, your service is with a smile and really fast! Lucky you. I had planned on trying the other restaurant there...
Read moreThe weather was gorgeous and it made the entire establishment look amazing. The food was pretty good and the water was... Water lol. However our group did get a little forgotten regarding utensils for a little while.
I mean we could have reverted back to our archaic times and just started going to town on our fully cooked meals with our bare hands but I believe that would have soiled the atmosphere that was around us.
Eventually we got our silverware and we're able to fully enjoy our meals as well as cleanse our mouths with the napkins...
