Walked in at 9:50pm and ordered. (No wait, cool!) The food came to our table in less than 5 minutes. Awesome service and the food was great! All of it. This was exciting because it was not so great on a previous visit. But…minutes into our excitement and truly enjoying our meals… a woman (wearing a jacket) began flipping chairs over onto the tables —despite the fact that Arby’s was not closing for another hour. Then a cold draft of air began chilling the whole restaurant (we were sitting in a booth close to the door.) After about 10 minutes of this we found the entrance door was propped open— by the lady wearing a jacket. For the next 15 minutes we ate our meals (our jackets on now), while the lady just stood in front of the wide open door. We left having to step over and around a pile of large blue hose she had filled the entryway with. It’s hard not to conclude her actions were deliberate, as it makes no sense to throw a hose (connected to a van) in the entrance an hour before the restaurant closes, and prop the door wide-open in 26° weather for 25 minutes—unless you want customers to leave. I would think Arby’s employees had a responsibility to instruct the cleaning company not to begin their work or bring their equipment in until after the restaurant was closed. Good food ruined by a very rude lady. Arby’s...
Read moreI recently had the displeasure of visiting the Arby's drive-thru, and the experience was nothing short of a disaster. The employee who took my order could barely muster the courtesy to acknowledge my existence. After charging me, he curtly instructed me to pull up to the second window where, according to him, my food would be ready in a second.
Well, let me tell you, their definition of "a second" must be drastically different from mine. I sat there for over ten minutes, watching as cars that were behind me got their orders and drove away while I continued to wait. Eventually, I had no choice but to park and go inside, where I faced another round of frustration.
Trying to get an employee's attention inside was like pulling teeth. Finally someone walked past me and shouted that my food was on the counter, where dine-in customers pick up their orders. When I asked if he was talking to me, he shouted back, "Yep!"
The lack of professionalism and basic customer service was astonishing. Waiting ten minutes while others got served, being ignored inside, and then being yelled at is beyond unacceptable. The only word that truly sums up the Forest Lake Arby’s and its employees is, pathetic. Do...
Read moreIt was evening time at the Forest Lake location when I had come in to pick up my mobile order. First impressions are the most important. The staff had bad attitudes and were passive-aggressive. After some customers got down ordering food, one customer came up to the counter stating that her shake was the wrong size. The guy from behind the counter just ripped it out of her hand like he didn't care if that was the case, replacing the shake or not. The girl that had come up to the counter had an attitude that didn't seem genuine. I'm thinking about the customer service now. I brought up the order I had ordered and she just looks up at the order screen all confused stating that she didn't think it was ready yet. We ordered quite sometime ago. Then she looks at the mobile order rack, reads the first bag and shoves it in my direction. I asked if the drink was there too and only then did she take the drink and second bag off the rack and shove them towards me, stating that those were also apart of the order. Seriously? I get that people have bad days but this whole scenario was downright terrible! Not sure if I'm coming to this...
