KFC — Restaurant in Forest Lake

Dirty and slow. Arrived at 7:45 p.m. floors wet and messy, messy tables in lobby, buffet mostly empty and destroyed, guy washing floor behind counter with pieces of chicken sitting on floor that they dropped earlier, and still sloe to take my order. 3 tables in the lobby and no cars in drive-through. Then a track team came in and really put them behind. Wow. And they ran out of Mt. Dew. Whole store is out. And lobby garbage are so full doors won't shut.

Update- 2 weeks later:

Gave it another chance. Mistake. Arrived at 7:30 and buffet the is empty and hasn't been service in what looks like a couple of hours by the cooked on gravy drippings. Original chicken pan empty, Crispy with two really old looking pieces. Garbage full. Bathroom filthy. Tables are a disaster. Just watched a guy fill a blow it gravy to go (no gloves) and then proceed to lick gravy off of his fingers, then put the lid on the bowl and put in to go bag. Customer was watching him, no idea why she didn't demand a new one. How this place passes the health inspection is frightening. I'll never be back, and I love me some KFC.

Update #2 on visit #2:

Just watched customer walk in and stand at cash register, ungreeted and never served after 5 minutes she left. After 3 minutes I started video taping it, so I have proof. This is as bad as I've ever seen. Corporate will be getting a report from me on this. It serves no one to be this catastrophically bad. This is negligence and laziness at a level I've never seen. And I worked fast food for 5 years, so that's saying something!

Seriously. Don't eat here. At least not on a Saturday...

Don't waste your time or money!!! I'm sure there's a reason that most of the KFC's in the area went out if business a few years back. This KFC offers a buffet, however the selection on the buffet is dismal and when the staff went to replenish the chicken, the staff member who was doing so literally disgustingly threw the chicken in the hot table and sneered while doing it. The rest of the buffet was full of cross contaminated food, everything from the potatoes, corn, green beans to the gravy amongst other things were all cross contaminated. The other thing that wasn't a hit with most other patrons either were the dirty disgusting tables that looked like they hadn't been cleaned all day. There was also an older gentleman who walked in after we had just sat down who asked for a potpie. The staff told him that they didn't have any ready and they suggested that he simply order something else. The gentleman stood his ground and asked how long it would take to have one made. He was told a little more than a half hour. He was fine with that paid for his meal and waited patiently for his potpie to cook. When we were done eating he was still sitting there waiting for his potpie. I hope he didn't sit there too much longer.

The overall attitude of the staff was less than steller. When you visit an American staple restaurant like KFC your expectations are a bit higher than the off brand sub shop in the small town corner store, however the sub shop knows that if you impress one person 1× they'll come back with their friends. This us the MOST FILTHY restaurant I have ever been in -in my entire life. We stopped to eat at the buffet for dinner. We soon regretted that choice. The worst part of the visit was how filthy it was including the kitchen. Garbage is overflowing, dirty pop machine, no soap or paper towel in ladies room, no napkins, garbage is overflowing, trays overflowing, black filth on children's height chairs and the door going to the kitchen. Staff licking their fingers while preparing orders. Staff touching their hair and face rubbing their nose with gloves on/ adjusting their headsets . Very limited selections in @buffet.Very limited quantities of food in each pan.. Had to ask for white meat then they would put one piece out at a time. They were just add food to the pans such as gravy instead of putting a new pan out. The pickles and jalapeños had cloudy water and obviously had been sitting all day. Every table in the restaurant was dirty. I took pics but not sure how to post...
