I visited around 11:09 AM, right at opening time. From the outside, the place looked closed, and when I went in, the staff didn’t seem very cheerful or energetic. As someone who’s soft-spoken and has social anxiety, it was a little hard to get their attention at first, but thankfully I didn’t have to repeat myself too much, and ordering was quick and easy. I was torn between getting General Tso’s chicken and beef with broccoli. I prefer my General Tso’s on the spicier side, but when I asked if it was spicy, I didn’t get a clear answer. So I went with my safe choice—beef and broccoli—and I’m glad I did! The vegetables were fresh and still had a nice bite to them, not soggy, but full of flavor. The steak was decent, kind of gamey, so I’d give it a 6.8/10. I ordered the lunch special but substituted the rice for lo mein (not sure what kind they gave me), and it ended up being the highlight of my meal! The noodles were flavorful and had a great consistency. Even with the substitution and a drink, my total came to under $15, which felt like a great deal. Overall, the food was tasty and fresh, and I’d definitely come back again!! Next time I’ll try something new, maybe even the General Tso’s if I can get more info on the spice level!

First of all I tried this place after seeing a TikTok review. I ordered the shrimp egg roll, wonton soup, and shrimp egg foo young. I requested extra duck sauce and only received two. The egg roll had one tiny really small shrimp in the whole $2.75 eggroll and the cabbage was crunchy. The wonton soup was pretty good and the fried wontons were crispy and fresh. The shrimp egg foo young had barely any shrimp in it. The gravy was just over saturated with sesame or peanut oil. I added the two soy sauce packs that came with it to make it taste better, and it helped a little bit but overall out of five stars, I’m gonna give them two being it really wasn’t worth the $37 I spent ordering from them through Uber eats.

China Star is a mixture of Chinese and American food. They have your typical Chinese lunch special and dinner combo, hibachi and American food like wings, fries and cheese steaks. I've never ordered a cheese steak from them. Just didn't look appetizing. This particular day the food was on point. The rice is generally on point in that's my favorite. I'm giving them a four star since the last few times I've been there they've been consistent. Your experience may be different.

The service was terrible, order was repeated back correctly. I had a large company order, I actually recommend the place cause my husband go here all the time. They dropped the ball the part of the order that got messed up was the order of 50 wings who confuse 50 wings for 8 wings sounds nothing alike. However, I received the 8 wings, then the lady going to tell me for 50 more wings it's $38 plus tax. The food was terrible and flavorless. The Vegetable and Shrimp Lo Mein was very dry, Shrimp egg roll's just had cabbage and one or two shrimp in it. No powder sugar on the fried donuts just regular sugar, the Crab Ragoon didn't have nothing in most of them, the Hibachi Triple Delight was bland no flavor on steak and the chicken was dry. I believe in supporting community businesses. But we will not be supporting this...

Kind of unprofessional. Food is good, but the staff have their little children running around making customers uncomfortable. There are toys all over the place and they violate personal space. It was cute at first then the little girl knocked over all the plastic forks and spoons onto the floor. The lady put them in a plastic bag and took them to the back. Now they are running around with balloons like a nursery school. A customer came in with her little girl. She had a whistle around her neck. The little boy went over and started blowing the little girls whistle. The little girl was confused and didn't know what to do. The Mom who was the cashier just smiled and didn't do anything. If not for this it would a great place. This is my 3rd visit with...
