Waffle House in Ellenwood, AnvilBlock. I am given this one star review because of the employee Tay or Tate. A young lady that may have just started by her actions. Due to her the line was being held up. I placed my order online at 7:48 AM. It said be there by 8:21 AM for pick up. I arrived at that time my order was not ready. The only person who knew about it was Tate, and when I asked her, she looked at he paper huffed and puffed and put the paper back down. I didnāt think that meant anything until 15 minutes later I heard a gentleman call in my order and then say, āOK Tay I called in your online order.ā Now my order is being created after I sat there for 15 minutes waiting patiently. Tay still wasnāt paying attention to my order so others on the line had to get it plated. Another gentleman put my order of pecan waffles in, however, one of them disappeared. So then I had to wait for another one to be made. All this time No communication from anyone. No apology no acknowledgment. Nothing.
Were they busy, yes, and everyone who came in after me got theirs and left. Now I get my food at 8:50am with no cheese in the hash browns. She take the plate and they correct it. STILL NO APOLOGY. $40ish paid online with the tip. I didnāt ask for a refund because they are working hard and they are busy but this had to be said.
Young lady you have some growing to do in customer service. Maybe itās your first job, I donāt know, but please, I hope you read this message and learn from it. Customer service goes along way. A smile goes my way. And apology goes either further. Acknowledge your mistake, apologize and quite possibly all could be well. But when you do nothing and appear frustrated after you made your mistake that others helped you out of, and still no apology is not OK. Please excuse any typos, because Iām irritated but you get the point. Young lady please do better here or where ever you...

There was an associate I believe her name was Ashley she has a tattoo of a small heart on her wrist white girl blonde hair. the experience was horrible when I came in there were already customers complaining about how long it took for their order to be made and the crazy thing about it was there food at already been made she had literally told them their food was done and she walked to their table with their food and then walked back behind the counter and put it down.
In regards to me when I walked inside of Waffle House at 3: 10 I literally had to ask for my order to be taken. I was inside of this restaurant for about 12 minutes without being greeted and unnoticed and I simply just got tired of waiting so when I asked for my food to be taken Ashley with the "I don't want to be here demeanor" took my order. It took her 20 minutes to get me two glasses of cold water which is simply unacceptable in the restaurant business.
It took at least 30 minutes just to make an All-Star Meal which is horrible because the restaurant wasn't even full. Two customers came in and she was standing in front of the cashier slumped over looking at the menu the customers were literally standing over her for seven whole minutes without her even greeting them or asking to take their order which is horrible. another associate had to bring me some more water because she simply did not come back to me at all. My All Star meal waffles had to be remade because I asked her to make them light and they came out dark. Ashley should not be allowed to represent the Waffle House brand because of her piss poor like attitude if you ever go in late at night do not allow for her to serve you. They didn't even have any clean silverware throughout the whole restaurant so I had to get plastic silverware bad experience...

They make you feel like your business matters and youāre not a bother food is good and their customer service is EXCELLENT! The reason for the four stars is the time a day matters for the customer service given. I prefer during the week mornings or āmaybeā a weekend (mornings) late night or evening is a hit or miss depending on whose there unfortunately itās another young lady there named Richiti hope Iām spelling it right sheās really nice and pleasant. The manager I think āhe isā or area/district manager which is worse can he be rude and uninviting light skin gentleman with a bald head (JESSE), doesnāt even acknowledge or speak to his returning/incoming customers, heās like that with his staff and some customers not all he has his āfavorite/regular customers and his side kick which was also a floor manager they BOTH cook as well. Iāve witness and overheard both of them belittle their employees and talk down to them in front of customers and to some customers UNPROFESSIONAL, rude & condescending nevertheless I placed my order and left after a very long wait, your job as a leader is to LEAD and motivate your employees keep the morale up and customers coming back. I come back only for Mike & Ms Prissy two of the longest standing employees at this location. DemeĆ© is the best very personable and always pleasant (Anvil Block) Do better management! Good Job Mike & Ms Prissy. Once I remember the other pleasant ladies name I will update my post (done above DemeĆ©) sheās been there for a while now too the ONLY REASON for the 4 stars is because of the two employees listed above they...
