I was up there today, and had the worst fast food experience of my life! I went there to get two spicy chicken sandwiches, and two regular fries, but first i had to ask if they even had sandwiches, cause they're ALWAYS out; the cashier told me they had them, so i ordered. She proceeded to tell me it was gonna be 16 dollars! I waited till i got to the window, cause maybe i miss-heard her; she repeats the price, and it's still 16 bucks! I asked her how that could be, and she tells me she doesn't know, and couldn't break down the cost of anything or even change the order. In consideration of the people behind me, i paid for the order, and when i asked for the receipt, she told me all the receipts printers are down! Okaaayyy... Then i just take my order, and parked to look at everything. I was paying atleast 4 bucks over the price i should have! I couldn't accept this, so i went inside to talk to a manager, and get a break down of the prices, and she tells me completely different prices that were listed! I tell her that, and she simply says "well that shouldn't be" at first i was just gonna bend over, and take it, but that attitude really made me angry, so i returned the whole thing. She asked how i paid, and i gave her my credit card, she goes back to the register they did my order on, and another (probably manager) employee asked her what the problem was, and she walked over to her (with my card still in her hands!) And started to talk (I'm assuming about the situation) then came back to the register to do my "return"; she hands me back my card, no receipt, no proof anything happened, and that was all! I am so absolutely heated at the entire situation! I absolutely can't believe my experience here! I get that working fast food is hard (i worked in it for years, so i get it) and this covid thing has messed up alot of things, but it was no excuse for them being so dismissive, and, i feel, deceptive about the entire situation. The only reason i even gave them a second star was the food was fresh. This Popeye's is certainly not one i will ever go back to! And it's literally right down the street from me! I WILL be checking my bank account for my return, if i don't see it in the next few days, i WILL be filing a complaint! Avoid this place...
Read moreI received terrible customer service in the drive-thru on September 11th, 2022, at 11:41 am. The lobby was closed, which wasn't a problem, so we proceeded to go thru the drive-thru with a 17foot box truck; we placed the order and got to the window. Monesha had an attitude from the start. With us being in a large box truck, my husband knew he had to pull away from the building a little and walk to the window, which he did. Monesha passed the drink and told us to pull up; we did not have a large order, just the two $6.99 notable and a five-piece tender meal, six biscuits, and two large sides, so we asked for a straw for the drink; it was a problem just asking for a straw. So we pulled around to the other side.
For this reason: one is not going to pull up to the dumpster, and we couldn't block traffic with a large box truck. We sat there for about 2 minutes; nobody came out, so we pulled back around to the drive-thru side, sat there about 1 minute, then the young lady said y'all order been ready. My husband said I got to come to get it; she said yes, it's right here. Monesha wanted my husband to walk back to the drive-thru while cars passed to get the order. Now, what sense does this make? It was no reason to pull up when my husband was already standing at the drive-thru waiting on the order. Therefore, words were exchanged, and the manager had to come and pass my husband the order in the drive-thru window. Everybody knows when you say pull up, you are bringing the order out, especially when someone was already standing in the drive-thru, not making any one job hard by reaching to pass money, etc. Monesha does not need to work in customer service; why are you mad about taking orders, taking money, giving change, and passing the order the customer placed? The manager handled that excellently; however, Monesha needs a new profession. Something is seriously wrong when someone is trying to make your job easy and you...
Read moreI visited Popeye's store number 128004 I will never patronize this location again I do not care if I have to drive 10 extra miles to another Popeyes and I will encourage others to stay far away. I visited this location purchase a three-piece combo and while I was sitting in the line waiting for my meal for about 15 minutes the shift manager Terrell or Darrell proceeded to curse at the other employees saying that if they called out they would not have a job etc in the presence of the general manager Ava. The same general manager then proceeded to use those same profanities to those employees as she continued on making the Schedule the employees were so in shocked by the way the managers were speaking that they got completely confused about orders they stopped passing out foods they were just standing there staring at their manager who was cursing them out. The way they spoke, to be managers, was despicable to speak to the youth and employees who you employ who help to run your business was downright disgraceful my son was in the car I had to roll up the window because she was screaming curse words loudly The young man at the window was very respectful and professional while being yelled at I then proceeded to ask to speak with that general manager so that I can get a refund and explain to her my experience she then refused to come to the window sent one of the other employees to give me a refund. Once I received my refund I did advise the employee that they should contact the eeo office because they should not have to work in a hostile environment. I truly hope the franchise owner will read this and address the hostility and the unprofessional behavior of its leaders at that restaurant. So it's a firm no return for me because I don't want to patronize a business that does not respect its employees and...
