First-time Experience at this Church's Chicken "Fast Food" Restaurant & The Service Was ABSOLUTELY HORRID. From The Drive-Threw Set-up Being An Extreme Safety & Building Code Violation/An Indefinite Hazardous Zone When Pulling In From The Street. Just An Accident Waiting To Happen.
Everything About This Restaurant & The EXPERIENCE Was Down Spiraling & Below POOR..
I.e..., From The Building Being Extremely Dated Needing Repair To The Paint, Advertising Sign, Letters, Drive-Threw Order-Box & Display, Menu / Price List & Display, Cash Register System, Etc.. Including But Definitely Not Limited To The Overall Customer Serviceš
My family and I had to place a $43 Order At The Window, Which Isn't To Uncommon, However, What Was Uncommon Was The Drive-Threw Worker Leaving The Window Three Times Directly In The Midst Of My Family Placing An Order For Over 12mins To Go, From What Was NOT Hidden From Us, Checked Her Cellphone, Joke & Laugh With Other Workers, And Tend To Walk-in Customers..
The Worker Even Failed To Greet My Family At The Window, And Took An Attitude With Me When I Emphasized "Hello" Several Times To Get Someone's Attention Suggesting For Another Worker To "Girl You Better Get ThAT, Cause I'll Go Off On Her Ass," Remark In Front Me With No Regard To The Presence Of My 3 Minor Children.
So Another Worker Approached The Window After About 28mins If Waiting, Who Appeared To Be A Manager, From The Different Shirts, Apologizing For Our Wait & Concluding The Order. My Family Was Hungry & Being From Out Of Town Church's Chicken Was A Familiar Family Eatery For Us So I Overlooked The 1st Service To Proceed With The Manager In Hopes Of A Better, More Professional Service Experience.
To My Surprise The Encounter Began Quite Calm & Smoothly Besides The Manager Having To Manually Total Up The Order Price Then Type It Into the Very Dated Register. The Manager Nicely Indicated The The Food Would Take 12mins To Finish Cooking & Asked If I Would PullOver & Someone Would Bring The Order Out To My Car, Which I Paid $43 For The Order & Agreed To Pull Aside To Wait On.
I Asked The Manager Several Times About Family Meals To Save Money & She Replied"We Don't Have No Family Meals" I Said Okay, Ask If She Could Summarize What Came In The "Family Meal Deal" Indicated On The Menu Display & She Replied, "12pcs of Chicken 6 Biscuits & 2 Large Sides".. I Ask About Drinks & Fries, Cause Of My Children, & The Manager Said "Oh You Get A Large Box Of Them & Drinks," So I Said "Great! We'll Take Fries & Okra," Pulled Aside To Wait & The Experience Went Downhill Thereon.
While Waiting For The Order, It Was Extremely HOT This Day, & My Family Had Not Even Received Our Drinks. Approaching Lunch time For Locals Coming & Going In & Out Of The Establishment, & Getting Sidetrack With Entertaining My Children, Over 48mins Had Passed With No Acknowledgment Of The Order.
When Driving Back Through The Hazardous Drive-Threw For The Order The 1st Worker Stated "There She Is Right There" And The Manager Handed Me A Bag Of Greasy Ice Cold Food That Tasted Very Old & Stale.. I Asked About The Large Box Of Fries & Okra & The Manager With Attitude Yelled "That Is A Large & I Didn't Say No Box You Get A Cup Like Thing,".. Amazed ! at The Behavior Of The Worker's & To De-escalate Matters, I Just Asked For Two Extra Cups Of Fries For My Other 2 Children For My Extreme Wait Over 12mins & Inconvenience & The Manager Said "Oh We Don't Do Inconvenience That's Like Freebies." & Proceeded To Charge Me $11 extra Dollars For Fries.
I Declined, & She Started To Smacked Keys On The Register & Yelled"Put'em Back Now She'on Wan'em"
I Ask To Cancel The Cold Greasy Order & For A Full Refund & The Manager Stated"All Food Sales Is Final From Us."
I Filed A Complaint With The BBB.. In Which No Response To The Complaint Was Issued.

On January 31, 2021 I was order number 96 going through the drive thru. I ordered the $15 dollar family meal , my 2 sides mac and cheese and fries, I also ordered a cole slaw for an additional $2.25. Monique the manager seemed nice telling me "I got you" she was so friendly etc. I was so confident in receiving my food a few minutes later I had to pull up because they had to prepare my order. I didn't check to make sure everything was there, Monique was so nice I felt confident it was correct. I got all the way to where I am staying and the cole slaw was not there!
I immediately called, and she was like come back up here and "I got you" I explained that I wasnt going to come all the way back over there. Please understand that as a customer this really puts you in an awkward position. It's a small item , it's a few dollars but it really is more the principle of the matter . Driving all the way back over there is unreasonable for me as a customer, You really need to have other alternatives like crediting back that amount or something, I understand that dollars are as important to you as they are to me. I explained that I would come the next day. I still have a few pieces of chicken in the fridge so yes inconvenient but I spent my money, granted it was a side item, it put me in an awkward position.
Tonight we stop by, Monique is in the parking lot talking to someone in another vehicle. I waved and she said "I got you" , she went into the store and the person in the vehicle I parked next to followed her. I waited for several minutes until she never came out, so I went in. I walked up on her giving the customer in front of me that was in the vehicle that I parked next to, an item she obviously failed to put in his bag. She offered him some free mac and cheese. I came to the counter and she put down a very little coleslaw, I said is that what I paid for, $2.29 for that? I said no, I don't want it, I want a refund. SHe started telling me I was rude, I should have come back the night before, all these things, she was nasty to me. She told me that I was just rude and I didnt need to act like that to people, especially people that prepare my food! Hold on now that makes me concerned, I have no reputation of being a rude person whatsoever! I told her I wanted to complain and she ranted about calling the district manager but wouldn't give me the number to call on my own phone. She refused the refund, told me I was rude and I told her F you and she said I get F'd good every night. The last things said were totally inappropriate on both of our parts. I need to talk to someone about my experience. This is the most ridiculous thing I have been through! I should not have been treated so disrespectfully, also I should not have to give Churches my hard earned $2.29 cents because Monique doesn't do her job and make sure orders are correct! I should not have to drive all the way back to the restaurant because you made a mistake!! Also I am taking valuable time to type this email when I should be working on a PowerPoint...

I went to this place last night around 8:30 mind you they are still open at that time. It was a man inside wiping down counters we sat at the speaker for about 15 mins before I went and tried to open the door which was locked. Instead of him letting us know that they were closed or he couldnāt take us he just kept looking at us. Fast fwd till today, I went in for me and coworker we had two different orders , (NIKIRA OR WHATEVER HER NAME IS) told me she putting them in the same box. Instead of asking would it be okay if she put them in the same box. I told her no itās going to two different people I need separate boxes she told me I could not get a different box cause sheās the only one working. Which the time she took to argue with me she could have been putting my food in two different boxes. She then proceeded to tell me I would have to pay for a box. Which I donāt why when I had two total different orders. I will be calling...
