When I first went in Suzy was nice, sweet, helpful and all that... She would look me in my eyes when she spoke to me and seemed very pleasant as I asked a few questions such as layaway, cancellation policy, exchange etc just in case I changed my mind...... Today, I asked to cancel my LAYAWAY and get my money back and Suzy became a different person! NO! NO MONEY BACK!!!! what??!... I remained very calm and simply asked her, why can't I have my money back? She said all Sales final.... But this is a layaway not a sale.... No! No money back!!.... Can I ask you another question Ms Suzy? Why can't you look me in my eyes?.... I did!.... No you didn't and it's because you know you're wrong. You looked me in my eyes when you told me (after I asked SPECIFICALLY) I can get my money back if I changed my mind because I know myself... So she told me to contact corporate office and I asked what the info was and she gave me the info to their own location here...
Read moreI had a very negative experience at Furniture Outlet. From the moment we walked in, the lady in the store didn’t acknowledge us, ask what we were looking for, or offer any assistance. I had my children with me, and while they were moving around (as kids naturally do), they weren’t being destructive or out of control.
As I was actively telling my 2-year-old to get down from a piece of furniture, the lady shouted across the store, “Please keep your kids off the furniture!” Isn’t the point of a furniture store to try out the pieces before you buy? And why interrupt a parent who is already addressing the situation?
That was the final straw—we left immediately. I would never spend money at a place where the staff barely speaks to you, offers no help, and chooses to yell across the room instead of engaging with customers respectfully. Completely unprofessional and...
