Let’s start with the pros, because it all goes down from there.
The cheesesteaks are spectacular. The cheese (whatever they use) is not gooey enough to rip through the bottom where you’d have the whole thing falling apart, and it tastes fantastic with the chicken. I believe these other reviews saying this is the closest thing to Philly cheesesteaks in Forks. I was VERY impressed.
The fries are ridiculously bland - the texture isn’t bad but they put NO seasoning of any kind on them, just tastes like a hot potato. That’s it. Just a hot potato. There was so much grease in the fries that it left a ginormous stain on the corner of the bag.
The pierogis aren’t bad but they’re not the best.
If we come back it’ll be for the cheesesteaks and probably nothing else. This place looks inside like it’s kind of falling apart, and some people say that’s the type of place that makes the best food. When I walked in, I saw very few tables and not much space to walk around. One would imagine it’s more of a takeout place since the end of quarantine but I drive by here A LOT and virtually never see more than the two same cars in the parking lot.
What’s truly, truly, truly outrageous about this whole experience is the PRICES, and the reason I’m saying this is their competitors’ pricing. Three cheesesteaks, five pierogis, and a small fry for $61. Who charges $11.70 for five pierogis and pulls it off over and over? A place better...
Read morePizza would have been amazing had there not been so much salt in the dough. It was so salty it was inedible and it went straight into the trash. I scraped the cheese and sauce off and that tasted great but I tried the dough without anything on it and it was like biting into an overly salted pretzel. I read where you use Grande mozzarella cheese which is one of the top notch cheeses to use in a good pizza shop but if you are making your own dough you need to cut way back on the salt and this is coming from someone who likes salt! Also, the parking lot is a nightmare and if people are slightly unsteady on their feet it is a safety hazard. This could be an adorable little pizza parlor but needs major renovations and gives the appearance of being dirty but it’s not just very old and a remodel would really spruce things up. I was really looking forward to enjoying this pizza because it looked fantastic but couldn’t eat it unfortunately. UPDATE: I’m giving 5 stars!!! I did not go back for my free pizza but this is how you respond to reviews with professionalism. I will definitely return in the future and I really appreciate the response with integrity. Again folks this pizza parlour deserve...
Read moreHey George, Don't get offended..I know that your food costs keep going up and there is a supply and demand shortage for products. I Always order pizza and sandwiches from here. But lately the food has been way off. I just received an order tonight to give another chance. The cheessteaks were the mystery meat steak..pizza has been way to thick& doughy and salty as hell...the mozzarella your using is horrible..your better off raising your prices then purchasing inferior foodstuffs. George, don't get upset. I'm only telling you because I care and want you to do well. No one ate..even my wife told me to throw everything out.. I spent $80. I don't expect anything from this. I just wanted you to be aware of it. Use Galbani 50/50 or whole milk shredded..make sure steaks are not chopped and formed. 10% - 25%...
