So first things first I let them know ahead of time that I have an aggressive allergic reaction to shrimp. I repeated it at least three different times to the point that the waitress became a little impatient. I thought the food was good but very much overpriced. If you're going for flavor just stop and order from your local Chinese restaurant. What I will say is that the Hibachi experience is exciting engaging and fun. I went there yesterday at the recommendation of a friend to celebrate Father's Day. The Hibachi experience was definitely the highlight. However because of cross-contamination even though he didn't directly cook my salmon with any shrimp he still set the salmon on the same tray as the shrimp. As a result of this I believe some of the juice from the shrimp touched my salmon. As a result towards the end of the meal I had an allergic reaction my throat closed I had to walk out to the Walgreens nearby and purchase an antihistamine and I took two. However that wasn't enough and while I was being driven back home to Allentown to take muy inhaler, we stopped at a gas station so I could purchase water and took two more pills. Considering the price and the experience of the allergic reaction which I'm still feeling even this morning I don't think that I would be back and I do not recommend this for anyone who has severe allergic reactions to shellfish.

Disclaimer: First Time Hibachi I visited Jasmine Sushi Hibachi & Thai with my family and enjoyed the food overall. The salad was fresh and nicely dressed with a flavorful sauce that seemed like buttermilk ranch, though I’m not entirely sure. The soup was also very good, filled with mushrooms, onions, and scallions for a lot of flavor. I was very surprised they don’t offer free refills on fountain drinks. The hibachi chef put on an entertaining show with fire tricks. He sprayed water on us after which was a bit unexpected. At one point, he sprayed saki directly into my mouth without mentioning it was alcohol—I assumed it was a sauce until afterward. This caught me off guard. He then encouraged guests to catch broccoli in their mouths which was cool but even aiming for my niece, who’s not even two and couldn’t catch it, so it just ended up on the floor and seemed pointless. It was a fun gesture, but after the saki incident, I wasn’t exactly prepared for it. As for my meal, I had chicken and steak (medium-well) with a side of shrimp. The meat was decent, with the sauce adding most of the flavor. I’d rate it about 5.5/10. The shrimp was better, around a 6.5/10. The rice on its own was a bit bland, maybe a 4/10, but with the sauce, it went up to a 6/10.

Food was amazing! Experience was amazing! We did not make reservations. We got there at 615p. It was a last minute thing but the waiter was SUPER accommodating. She made us aware that because they only had one chef for the night that the food would take a little while because the other groups made reservations. She apologized in advance and wanted us to know that we weren't being ignored. I was fine with it honestly. While we waited they served our drinks, our soup and our salad. We waited about 40 minutes for the chef and when he made it over, it was so much fun! We had children with us and he made them balloon hats which was really nice. The flavor of the food was really good. We ordered 3 combinations plates (steak and seafood), and 2 kid plates (chicken and noodles), 5 drinks, and 4 desserts. Our bill including tax and gratuity totaled $160.95. I will definitely be coming back. Great food and great service.

If I could give zero stars I would. Made reservations for my sons birthday, which they were extremely polite over the phone. I ended up needing to add an additional two people to our party so I called back not even a half hour later and they stated it was no problem they would just have to move our reservation from 4:45 to 5pm, which was no problem at all. We arrived at 5pm, they did not seat us until almost 5:15. The second they sat us the waitress wanted to take our food order, I told her we were just going to do drinks and appetizers for now to give us some time to look over the menu. By 5:30 before we even received our appetizers “the manager” comes over (very rude and unprofessional) to tell us we are taking too long to place our dinner order and that our reservations were for 4:45 and it’s now 5:30 so we are taking up their time. I explained to the manager we were just seated at 5:15, she then said that I was lying about what time we were seated and threatened to check the cameras. We told her to please check the cameras and she will see exactly what time we were seated, once we said that she didn’t have much to say. At that point we were going to brush off that incident and try to enjoy our dinner. As they started bringing our appetizers out they were just placing them on the corner of our table and not putting them directly in front of the person who ordered it. The manager then kept walking around our table, yelling and slamming chairs. Every single customer and employee were staring at my entire family. At that point we decided to get up and not have dinner there. A mistake and miscommunication was done on their end but yet they chose to make my family and I feel VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. I heard this place was great so that’s why we decided to try it but after them treating my family like we didn’t belong there, I will make sure everybody knows how they treat...

The sushi here is good, the presentation is great, but the service is not good and very slow. Also, they don’t give you refills on fountain soft drinks and charge you per glass… wth

The owner really doesn’t understand or appreciate honest reviews. First off I tipped 15% my coworker tipped 10% but no tip was deserving as the service was horrible.

Let’s start with start to finish:

We stood at host stand almost 10 mins and no one seated us or even said hi. Granted nurimerous employees looked at us and even walked by but said nothing. The couple in front of us got frustrated and left so the business lost business. My cowroker finally just got mad and told the sushi chefs we were seating ourselves.

Took awhile for waitress to come, but they were taking to their friends at other table instead of waiting on people. Ordered food and they kept forgetting things had to get our own stuff sometimes other times remind them again. The guy that brought my salad literally threw it in the table without even pausing as he walked by it saying a word. No one said that drink refills were not free even after ordering several drinks and no $1.75 a glass is not fair when everyone else charges $3 and free refills. This owner could have a thriving business but they don’t seem to customer service oriented at all and can’t seem to take constructive and helpful...
