Brock's River Walk Tavern & Grill — Restaurant in Fort Atkinson

We took the Harley out for a nice long ride, almost 2 hours, specifically to this establishment after reading the reviews on Google and yelp. We were highly disappointed. The bartender was extremely rude upon us entering the building. There were only a few other people, I asked if we could sit outside and she stated "I am the only one working so you will be waiting a while", with a side note from another patron saying "that means order your drinks here". Umm... ok. We went outside, ordered a couple drinks after she stated that she just had someone walk in stating "they were bringing the whole baseball team of 400 people in so if you're going to order I suggest you do that now" even though she JUST brought us the menu and we had no idea what we wanted to eat. After that we decided to just have drinks and go elsewhere. After I shared that we decided to just have drinks she thanked us. It's as if getting the business was a problem for her. Also, as a side note I think the name made me think that they would have outdoor seating on the River Walk. That would have been a nice addition, instead we were next to the dumpster and kept smelling it the...

Got a recommendation to go here. Thought I would try it out. Ordered my food at 1:40pm, by 2:20pm still no food. Now I understand if they were busy, but I was only one ordering food. The rest of the peopke were partnof the dart league or at the bar just drinking beer. No food came out of the kitchen after I ordered. How long does it take to make a burger, a wrap, and chicken wings? 40 minutes? Imagine if they were busy. A couple hours probably. Bartender seemed to not care, she stood behind bar talkkng to another coworker, not once checking to see if we got our food. Finally had to walk up to the bar and tell the bartender we wanted to cancel our order. She looked at us and said “O, you haven’t gotten your food yet?” Really? I am your only table, and for 40 minutes you didnt notice my table was empty of food? How was an empty table not a big clue? I was a first time customer today, but this will be the last time I come to this bar. Doubt that will matter to the owner or management. It’s obvious they don’t care. We were just out for a drive when we passes thru this town and we found this place. We are glad we stopped in. They have an amazing bar that overlooks the water. Pool table, dart boards, and so much more... They have a nice selection of craft beers on tap to choose from. We decided we were going to eat after reading through thier menu. Our server was very friendly. She explained the specials and some of her favorites. Our daughter had the Alfredo pasta kids meal which was very tasty. My wife had the steak sandwich which was seasoned perfectly and cooked perfect. Lastly I had a fresh berry salad that was wonderful. It had fresh apples, mandarin oranges, grapes, candied nuts with a raspberry dressing. Very nicely done. I would have given this place a 5 star review, but I felt that the prices were a bit high. We will be back again soon and if they can match or beat this visit I will bump it up to a 5...
