Tavern on Rock — Restaurant in Fort Atkinson

A group of 9 of us were there last Friday (March 26, 2021) and the table service was terrible, really awful. Waitress Autumn was so unfriendly. She didn't greet us or introduce herself but she sure let us know that she had other customers and asked us to hurry up with our food order! It was obvious she didn't want to be there that night. The place was not packed for food, there were empty tables, but the bar was busy. One of us asked for a drink (Jack and Coke) twice and never received it. Many of us would've liked a drink from the bar but after she ignored us twice already, we just drank our waters. Eventually, three of us at least got the sodas they ordered. But, you guessed it, never did get the Jack and Coke. She was so hit-or-miss. One of us asked for ranch dressing but never received it. There was a dirty glass and empty beer bottle along with a signed credit card receipt left behind from the previous guest, and Autumn just ignored it, never took the glass, bottle, or payment off the table! She also left us with 9 menus and never took them away. Not once did she offer to refill our sodas or ice waters. We all know these places make their largest profits on the bar. There are many places around the area that offer good food AND good service. We left this place and had cocktails down the street. Still can't believe that Autumn was so rude. She needs a better attitude and/or different job. Although the burgers were good, we will be avoiding Tavern on Rock,...

Love the look of the place, food is tasty, very clean and trendy but service is horrible. Bartenders are extremely nonchalant, unorganized, and rude (4 experiences of the same behavior). Last night, had a relative in town from California so three of us went to dinner. Burger did not come out with cheese, requested cheese and they added it - thank you. Relative ordered vodka & sprite - had 3 drinks. Upon seeing the bill, my relative asked why Tito's was charged instead of rail, and the server detailed "it's the first thing on the screen to press". My relative, who works high end food & beverage, detailed it's okay, but please ask moving forward if they want rail or a specific, don't just put in the computer what you think. Server started to argue at which we just asked for the manager. Manager came over and essentially relayed that the server did nothing wrong, until we filled him in on the situation and he agreed with us. Manager was and is very professional and Tavern on the Rock is a very good place for quick bite, but needs to make sure serves know what they're doing and cannot ever rolls their eyes and argue...

The food was good except the fries where cold and mushy and my wings where sitting in a puddle of grease. And our server was awful there where three tables total and two servers. Our sever was annoyed when we told her to give us a minute to decide and then sat down and ate her own dinner. When my dad asked for another drink she told him they had ginger ale and they didn’t. And then asked if sprite was okay he said sure. We watched the bartender make the drink and set it in the tray with the extra napkins we had also asked for. She let the drink sit for ten minutes and the very kind and sweet bartender brought it to us. And she had seen the drink and looked at our table then pulled out her phone. I was not impressed.
