I haven't been inside a Dunkin Donuts in YEARS so I was pleasantly surprised to see how much they have expanded their offerings beyond just doughnuts. They now have assorted bagels, three flavors of muffins, croissants and will make various kinds of breakfast sandwiches. They have also expanded their coffee selection to various kinds of specialty coffee drinks which include various flavors of lattes and cappuccinos. I wish I lived closer to this place, I would definitely go there more often. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was because when I ordered a bagel, which the order taker knew I was taking to go, I asked him to slice the bagel for me. He asked me if I wanted it toasted and I said no. I only wanted it sliced and NOTHING else. But somehow they also warmed it. I'm not sure how they warmed it because I was not watching. I think they put it in a microwave for a few seconds which absolutely ruins the consistency and texture. I didn't ask for another bagel because that was the last multigrain one they had so I just took it. My plan was to toast it at lunchtime and eat it with my salad...which I still did. It was less than stellar because the texture was ruined from however they warmed it at the time of purchase, hut it was still edible. I'm sure it would have tasted great if I had have had them toast it for me in the store and then eaten it right then.
So they get four stars for not following my instructions. The staff was very friendly,l and pleasant, though, which always makes a difference. I will definitely go there again and try one of their breakfast sandwiches next time.
I also got an iced mocha latte. I like McDonald's better but this one was still good. It could have used a little more chocolate.
I also had one of their coffee cake muffins, which was awesome. They also had blueberry muffins and one other flavor... I think it was raspberry.
Over all, a good experience. I will definitely go...
Read moreI was there Monday feb. 3 2020 and the manager was having a nervous break down and was going to cry. I know this because she told me. I arrived there at 8:20 am to get a cup of coffee and a doughnut. I was standing behind a father and child getting their order filled. The manager walked away after giving them their food with out acknowledging me. There were two new employees standing around doing nothing for ten minutes before one finally came over to take my order. I asked for the manager to complain as 10 minute wait is way too long for a coffee shop. She came back to ask me what I wanted and I told her it was poor customer service to not greet customers upon entering a location, let alone not to take their order in a timely manner. She said she was too busy and had two new employees and she was too busy. I explained that the first thing an employee needs to learn is to greet customers and learn the phrase, we'll be right with you. Then I told her that she also looked straight in my face after serving the person infront of me before walking away without a word. That was when she told me she was going to cry. At that point i told her that she lost a customer and I would be contacting the district manager. I was concerned for the location that I called the next closest location and told them that they needed to get a replacement manager there immediately before things fell apart completely. They said they were aware of the situation amd people were on their way.
When i attempted to call corporate, they told me it would be a 15 minute wait, it was an hour. I asked to be contacted by the owner or district manager, I still haven't been. Of this owner can concern themselves over an emergency like this, I don't want to risk...
Read moreI wish I could rate higher. Staff is always pleasant and certainly trying their hardest, but management (maybe local, maybe corporate) needs to get creative to fix staffing issues. Due to staffing, the lobby is regularly closed, forcing everyone to use the drive thru. If you ordered through the app, you can’t exactly back out, so you’re forced to wait in the long drive thru line. I gave myself a 20 minute buffer and was still late for work. At the very least, they should leave the lobby open for mobile orders, as they don’t require a cashier. I also regularly have items missing from my order, often times getting just my drink and then having to wait for them to make food from scratch because they hadn’t started it yet (making the wait time in the drive thru worse). Again, mostly the staffing shortage to blame, not...
