Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Fort Atkinson

Odered a simple sausage and pepperoni family pizza. While there was plenty of pepperoni, my wife counted 26 small pieces of sausage. Really? I wished I would have looked at the pizza more closely before I left. I am certain the employees would have been embarrassed by the lack of meat. Maybe not.

Fast fwd two years. I thought I would give this place another chance. My bad. To make a long story short, we ordered two pizzas, one a simple sausage and pepperoni, the other a gourmet pizza ( minus anchovies). Needless to say, the s & p pizza was cardboard. No sauce or cheese. The second pizza HAD anchovies. I called to speak to a manager. No manager was in. Two days later I spoke to an assistant manager. I was met with animosity and rudeness. I merely pointed out that I wasn't asking for anything specific, but was met with "a policy" that would " give me $2 off my next pizza. Really? They obviously don't understand that with a better policy, they wouldn't lose a customer, get a negative review which reaches countless others, and EVERYONE I talk to regarding this establishment's issues. Too many other restaurants that respect their customers and provide better food...

The $10 large is a great deal on Tuesdays, but it is hard to escape the feeling that their employees have been told to skimp on some ingredients. I watched as pizzas were being made with a very small scoop of sauce, lathered thinly on only half of the pizzas before being pushed down the line. On one of mine, I ordered one ingredient to be on the entire pizza, and they applied a very small portion to about 2/3 of the pizza, but not all of the pizza. This has happened often in the past. Sometimes, they are adequate or generous with some ingredients, but inconsistently. I dIdn't say anything this time because they were very busy and, in the past, when I have remarked about things like that, the employees just say that is what they're allowed to put on, and turn away. In general, the employees seem to work hard, but it is very rare to see them smile. They clearly have not been trained on how to address consumer concerns. They also charge extra just to have pizza seasoning put on - once a standard ingredient, now is is an add-on. Papa Murphy's used to be well-run and pretty good, but it seems to be...

Ordered pizza and cheese bread online, upon arrival I was informed they were out of cheese bread. I was offered cookie dough instead, I politely refused (if I wanted cookie dough I would have ordered that) I said I rather get a refund, they told me "they could not do that until the manager was in", but he will take care of that. 5 days later no refund, I guess I have to jump through hoops to get a refund.
