DO NOT TRUST IF YOU HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS OR FOOD ALLERGIES!! I have ordered from UberEats and dined in MULTUPLE times a week for awhile now because they have been a PREGNANT craving of mine. My order has always been the same as well. Two egg and cheese sandwich on an asiago bagel. I will also mention that I am vegetarian, so I never order bacon or protein on the sandwich. With it being a pregnant craving it's been one of the only things I can stand to eat. This morning I was sorely disappointed because I ordered my usual sandwich through Uber Eats and it arrived with bacon on it. I figured oh well, people are human, people make mistakes. So I just went ahead I got Uber to refund the sandwich and reordered. I figured maybe they were busy or someone was just having an off day, so I called just to make sure the second sandwich I ordered would not have bacon. I'm not sure who I spoke to on the phone, but they apologetically promised to make sure the next sandwich would not have any bacon on it. A while later my second sandwich showed up and upon inspection I did not see bacon. At this point it had been almost an hour past being starving while pregnant and I was ready to eat. I got about halfway through my sandwich and what do I taste? Bacon on the other half. It was tucked up in between the cheese and the bagel so that I literally would have to have tear apart the sandwich and the bagel breading to be able to see it. I guess the sandwiches must come pre-made, or frozen? There was absolutely no way to tell that there were bacon on it. I am legitimately mind blown. I was only able to tell there was bacon because I tasted it. Upon taking one bite with the bacon in it being pregnant with a touchy stomach I immediately started vomiting and getting very sick. I tore the sandwich apart with the bagel not even being intact, that is how far tucked in this bacon was. I again had to reach out to Uber to get my order refunded. I also went ahead and called this Einstein's establishment to let them know that it is kind of a big deal to try and pay attention to detail when it comes to people's food. I'm very glad this was not an allergy issue because that would have been much worse. I completely understand people are human, and people mess up. But when I go out of my way to try and politely address a dietary restriction and I am verbally told on the phone that it will be accommodated I only expect the accommodation. So now, I feel very sick and probably will for a good part of the day because bacon does not agree with me when not pregnant. They have lost me as a customer. And I typically do not leave long reviews like this, I am just...
Read morePretty sad story for a recently opened business in this area. I ordered 15 bagel sandwiches through the online app for a business owners think tank meeting, which I have done numerous times in a different location. When I walk in the store to pick up my $160 order it's not on the online order shelf. I have to wait to ask for it, ok normal? Nope it's because they set it aside to verbally insult and punish me, their customer in front of all the employees, and other guests for not calling ahead my order or using the online catering options. How is the customer who has completed this order at other locations to know that the team at this location would be stressed enough to punish a guest for their order? Cherry on top. They had enough time to type up a word document note to leave inside the package with food again telling me how wrong I was. With a hand written note explaining they are humans too. 15 local business owners agreed they would be humans looking for new sources of income if we ran this business. Robert you set a poor example of leadership to your team and could have handled that very different. The food was wasted as people were concerned that "something" could have been done to the food from clearly...
Read moreIf you’ve ever been to this Einstein Bros. location, you’ve probably met Josh—and if you haven’t, you’re missing out! This guy isn’t just an employee; he’s the heart and soul of the place. From the moment you walk in, his energy lights up the room. He greets regulars by name, remembers their usual orders (extra schmear, toasted sesame bagel—no problem), and makes first-timers feel like part of the family. I’ve never seen someone balance speed, accuracy, and genuine kindness the way Josh does, especially during the morning rush.
But it’s not just about the service—Josh goes above and beyond in every way. One time, my kid dropped their bagel (RIP, cinnamon sugar), and before I could even react, Josh had a fresh one ready, no questions asked. He’s also the guy who’ll cheerfully explain the difference between a coffee blend or recommend a new sandwich combo (trust him—he’s always right). The teamwork behind the counter is next-level when he’s on shift; you can tell his coworkers love him too.
Honestly, Einstein Bros. needs to clone Josh or at least give him a raise. He’s the reason I keep coming back. If there were six stars, he’d deserve them all. Best bagel experience = Josh...
