If you're looking for delicious, flavorful food in a calming, modern setting, give Tararine a try. Today, my wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal here, and we were thrilled to see that Tararine has an entire 100% vegan menu in addition to their options for omnivores (I uploaded a photo).

Today we started with the fresh rolls (a wonderfully cooling dish with fresh mint -- perfect for today's hot weather!) and a pot of jasmine tea. We then each enjoyed a curry with tofu, and both were great (see photo -- mussaman curry in the back, green curry in the front). Super flavorful, and each dish met our respective preferences: She wanted something mild, and it came that way, mild but still very flavorful, whereas I wanted something with a bit of a spice kick, and my green curry was spiced to perfection.

The service today was great, too; the person who helped us answered all our questions, and she made herself available to help us without "hovering" or rushing us. We also liked the setting; from the outside, the restaurant is one of many in a Campus West strip mall, but from the inside, you feel transported: the dining area incorporates modern design in a way that doesn't feel cold, because of the floor-to-ceiling colorful murals. Today, there was also Thai music playing in the background (at a totally unobtrusive volume, so it added to the atmosphere but didn't interfere with conversation).

We will definitely be returning to Tararine, and we encourage you to...

Another new spots in town that we like. So much so that we came here twice in a week this week. ;P The place doesn't look much, I think only two people work there? Everything is fast, self-service and easy. The foods are incredible and the lady at the counter remembered what we ordered days/week prior! She is so sweet and attentive!

Although this is a THAI restaurant but I think there's a big Chinese influenced in some of the foods I tasted here. I love it! Especially since we don't really have an awesome Chinese restaurant in town as far as I know. I only know the so-so ones so far.

My first ordered was duck stir fried Thai spicy. It was great but if you are not used to Asian HOT (spicy) maybe try a more milder spice level. I loved it! The second time I went I ordered the Chow Fun with chicken. It was incredible. It brought me back home. This time I ordered just regular hot. LOL. Where I came from, Chow Fun or I called it Kwetiaw usually aren't spicy but they can give you chili and chili sauce on the side if you want, but I am Asian so spicy is a given and I LOVE it either way!

My husbad had the Pad Prik Khing with pork and it was so great, he prefers the way Tararine made it than the other resto in town. The second time he had another stir fried with a different sauce and meat and it was delicious also.

Thanl you for your delicious foods, Tararine! We will be...

Not usually one to complain and/or write poor reviews, but sadly, our meal today deserves a review.

To start -- I order online and request a 3:45pm pick up and everything appears to go through as expected.

I arrive at the restaurant and it is between their lunch and dinner hours, but knowing I ordered and paid I venture inside; it is 3:25pm.

Knowing I am 20 minutes early, I expect to wait, maybe have a drink while the food is cooked, which is how I like it so I can ensure it is hot and fresh -- but nope, food is right there on the counter. Who knows how long it's been sitting out given I ordered it over an hour ago...

Okay, get it home. As expected, it is relatively warm, so I suspect it hadn't been out for an hour+.

Dish up sesame chicken first -- Holy soy sauce, it is drenched in it and excessively salty. Luckily, my kids still ate some of it.

How about Pad Thai -- decent, although the noodles are soggy and limp, I suspect since it's been sitting around for a while. Further confirmation is the lime is a warm, disintegrated mess, but adds the necessary flavor.

Finally the Pan Fried Crispy Pork Belly -- calling it pork belly is a dream, try dried pork jerky. It is impossibly tough and nearly inedible. The vegetables are hard and undercooked. It's a hot mess and nowhere near what I...

Decided to try this place because I love Thai Food and saw it was new - had good reviews. I ordered the spring rolls and the drunken noodle with chicken. Unfortunately my assesment was that though it looked beautiful, and the service was great, the flavors just werent there for me. The spring roll had celery I think? and mint? Whatever it was, I didnt like the flavor. it overpowered the whole roll and i couldnt easily remove it. The sauce was not a traditional peanut sauce, had a weird tang to it, not a good flavor… The pad thai seemed freshly made but i ordered mine mild heat and it seemed very flavorless. Perhaps i should have ordered more heat but it was really lacking flavor. Not sure if I will try again unfortunately.
