Normally the service and food have been good. Lately, not the case. I was highly disappointed and dissatisfied with every aspect. Put my order in. I was told 20 min due to busy. Came in 25 minutes later to pick up food, and it still wasn't ready. Not a problem, the lady said it was getting close. There were 4 people working in the kitchen area. There was a line of 8 tickets on the food ordering line. There were people waiting in the dining room for their food. The lady at the front had bags ready to go for the food when it was done. There were two kitchen persons and perhaps one young lady that might have been prep. So, with the business thar was there, what do you think I should've seen. At least one person cooking... not the case. Both gentlemen were just talking, and no food was being made. I watched for 10 minutes (probably closer to 5), and all the guys were doing was talking. Both initially were in the back area of the restaurant talking. After 5 minutes, the guys came up to the front talking away. Finally, one of the guys finally starts cooking again. I promptly cancel my order. The cashier was a bit too relaxed about it. She didn't call the manager or anyone, but she just did the refund. When I explained that I was going to take my business elsewhere, she didn't care. She was more like, la, la. La. I even told her that I would go to Arby's so I could find someone who cares. She said "okay enjoy". Somehow, they forgot the customers were what make a business great! Too bad, I had hope. When this place opened up, food and service were great. Now... not so much. Read moreI had an order for pick up at 645, I was early to pick it up around 6:10 I figured I’d go in and see if I could get it made sooner then my original pick up time since I was about 30 minutes early. The girl at the front counter was not very helpful when asking just kind stood there twirling her and hair and looking at me like a deer in the headlights. She told me since I made the order online I have to be the one to cancel it and there was nothing she could do since it’s set on a timer. I did pay as guest so I was unable to cancel order since I didn’t not set up an account. She was rude when explaining it to me and kind of looking at me like I was stupid for the request. I went outside and waited in my car for 30 mins. While the workers inside continued to talk with an empty lobby. I was parked right out front of the store so I could see her bagging orders. Right at 645 I go in and as I thought she had bagged my order about 20 minutes ago and it was just sitting there as I walked in and grabbed my order I could see her laughing at me as I walked out. She knew I was sitting right in the front of the store. at one point after bagging my food she even walked out to her car and left the front unattended and customers waiting for her as she shoved who knows what in her bra and walked back into the store. Not only did was she rude but I don’t see why it couldn’t have been canceled and done when I asked but instead made me wait and sit outside in my car for 20 mins while my food was sitting bagged and ready to go. Read moreReally great spot for a healthy yet delicious lunch. I go here because I don’t usually like vegetables, but their sautéed vegetables covered in their sauce is pretty tasty. The cooking technique on the chicken is top notch. It’s perfectly caramelized and to die for. The egg roll is also great and I don’t usually like egg rolls.
My only complaints are the staff, although they do an acceptable job. The front desk employees are always so neutral and awkward they border on being rude. Good luck getting a smile or anything other than “what can I get for you?” Recently an employee got sideways with me over the teriyaki sauce. I dine-in and prefer the bottles of sauce provided at the counter, but the employee gave me attitude because there was a sauce in the bag. I offered to give back the small container of sauce and she rudely took it back.
My last complaint is about the vegetables that I usually really like. I can tell the vegetables take the longest to cook and the chefs usually can’t be bothered to cook them long enough. I always ask for well done vegetables but they are definitely still VERY crunchy.
