If one wants to make a good sandwich, one must have good bread. I had an Italian on wheat. The bread was basically what you get at Subway, which is a raw, sweet & gummy bread with no crust. To fix this, I would reduce the bread amount by 30%. This would help balance the ratio of bread to ingredients. Secondly, I would increase the moisture content of the bread and cook it longer. This will eliminate the gummy texture and help it to form a crust while keeping it from drying out, This should fix a bulk of the bread issues without having to scrap the whole bread recipe. I chose the quinoa side which was not a side at all, but rather a double sized to-go ramekin. I mean, why bother? It was literally two spoonfuls of food. I had a taste and my wife tasted it. Then it was gone. I also ordered the chicken tenders which were great except for being over-cooked and thus super dry. This was a shame bc I thought the chicken tasted fresh. The staff was great but no reason to return in my opinion. To be fair, I also haven't has a good sandwich in town bc no one can make bread. The last good sandwich I had was 3 years ago at Bon Fresco in Columbia, MD. Good luck out there! FYI: My sandwich was 11.29 ounces & the chicken (just the tenders alone) was 4.24 ounces. My total with a 3 dollar...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could give Elevated Sandwiches' Cuban sandwich 100 stars and a slow clap standing ovation, I would. I took one bite and immediately questioned every sandwich I've ever eaten in my life. Have I been living in a deli-deprived dimension until now??
Let’s talk about the crunch. That bread doesn’t just crunch—it crackles with purpose. It sounds like applause from the sandwich gods themselves. I bit into it and nearly ascended. My tastebuds high-fived. My jaw said, “We’re working overtime, but it’s worth it.”
And that mustard sauce? Zesty. Tangy. Life-changing. It’s not just mustard—it’s mustard that went to culinary school and then backpacked through Europe to find itself. It brings the whole thing together like a saucy therapist mediating deliciousness.
I don’t even know what else is in it—pork? Pickles? Magic? I blacked out halfway through in a state of sandwich euphoria. Someone check on me.

Read moreHad a chance to grab lunch with a buddy today and decided to try this place out for the first time. No seating inside which was a bummer given the crazy wind. I should have know because I saw so many people eating in their cars on the way through the parking lot.
The lady at the front was super nice and super easy to order. I decided on the cheesesteak with steak, but there is an option with chicken. 8” sandwich was just under $13 and did come with a small order of kettle chips cooked in house.
The cheesesteak was pretty tasty with the bread being one of the best parts. It was a bit messy, but shoot any good cheesesteak hopefully is. Great cheese, veggies were cooked perfectly and all rolled up in a crisp bread on the outside but soft in the inside.
The chips weren’t my favorite. I give them kudos to doing their own kettle chips in house, but the lack of salt and an oily after taste I would suggest something...
