WARNING! ATTENTION! WARNING!
My brother and I came here the other night and both ordered dinner to go. We both ordered chicken bowls and had something extremely hard and crunchy in both our meals. It was almost like sand or crunched up pieces of chicken bone or something. Anyway, I bit into it and my tooth literally broke into a dozen tiny pieces. Now I have a huge crater in my upper molar and have to go to the dentist on Monday and spend who knows how much. Luckily my brother didn't bite down as hard as I did and noticed it 1st. I wasn't so lucky.
We were frequent customer's at your restaurant and come here at least once a week. Never again! This is completely unexpected and unforgivable.
Maybe it was the creepy employees with the blue hair making the food. There was something off with them. Maybe my 20% tips i leave (for take out) aren't enough, and they got upset and put something in our food. I'm not sure but regardless now I have a broken - cratered - molar. All thanks to Tokyo Joe's!
Remember this when you consider coming here!
UPDATE: I NEEDED 2 ROOT CANALS TO FIX THE DAMAGE. IT COST A GRAND TOTAL OF $10,000 OVER THE LAST 4 MONTHS! THIS IS CRIMINAL! IF THERE WAS A WAY FOR ME TO SUE THIS STORE, I ABSOLUTELY WOULD! I HOPE YOU GO OUT OF BUSINESS AND YOUR EMPLOYEES END UP IN JAIL WHERE THEY BELONG!
GOD I PRAY THIS DOESNT HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE! THIS IS SICK!

Read moreI had several experiences at T. Joe's. I ate there at least twice a week a couple of years ago while staying at a nearby short-term rental and needed quality food at a reasonable price. T.Joe's always had fresh ingredients, a warm atmosphere, and even unique music playing on the speakers (softly) that took me back to the days of my high school tennis work-outs (good jams!). Fast fwd to present day during the CoVid era: T. Joe's is taking every precaution very seriously and valuing the health of both staff and customers with equal vigilance. That means something. Their food is still as amazing as it was when I was a "neighbor" a few years back. I have had some errors with my orders, but am realizing that with so many customizable options to choose from, this can easily happen. Yes, it's frustrating to drive home 15+ miles away and realize that your food isn't prepared how you ordered it to be. However, I have called to point out the error, ask if it could be fixed during a future visit, and have never been disappointed. Thanks, "TJ's", for making healthy, delicious, generously-portioned food, in a safe environment. And...for hiring people who treat customers as...
Read moreMy wife and I usually love Tokyo Joes', but our last visit was very substandard. Our order took an unusually long time, and a couple who came in after us got their food faster than we did. Then, they got the ingredients wrong in my order, which wasn't the end of the world, but not ideal either. We noticed the bowls were quite heavy on the rice, and light on the chicken and vegetables, but figured we would just deal with it. Then, my wife had a hair from the kitchen staff in her food that she found about halfway (or less) through her lunch. At this point we were done with the meal and decided to say something. The manager wasn't there, but one of the staff said he was the next in charge. We voice our complaints and he said he could either refund us our money or offer us a free meal the next time. We opted to have the money refunded, but then he said he wasn't able to do the refund because he didn't know how to do it in the system (even though I'd paid with cash). He took my name and number and said a manager would call and get it taken care of, but it's been about two weeks and still no word from anyone at TJ's. We definitely won't be going back to...
