It has come to my conclusion that both McDonald's in Fort Dodge have gone to crap probably due to the employees not giving a 100%. Tonight we went threw drive threw & ordered 3 McCrispy, 3 large fries, & a large mocha frappé. We got to drive threw window paid then gone to next window to be told to pull foward to wait for our order which was fine which meant it be hot & fresh. Got my frappé while waiting, but when one of the workers came out with peoples orders they looked lost & confused & didn't know which order belong to who at first. When we got our order we left parking lot & had to turn back around because we were missing 2 of the fries we ordered, but had everything else. My husband goes in & he tells me that nobody really tried helping him they kept saying go to the keyas to order when he had an order in his hand that needed fixed. A lady also waiting for her messed up order told my husband you gotta put your foot down or they ignore you & hide in the back. Finally he got someone to fix his order & when we left the parking lot I go to eat my sandwhich it had no mayo, Lettuce, or tomatoe like it showed in the photo just a plain sandwich a piece of chicken with no mayo & 2 pickles. I'm very disappointed in McDonald's & I feel like they need to step up there A game come on guys you can do better I'm disappointed in you guys. Went into the store on 5th Ave S, Fort Dodge, IA & the manager behind the front counter @ the register told me she would help me @ the kiosk & she proceeded to come out from behind the register & walk towards the kiosk. I told her that I don't use the kiosks, as I have told this particular manager as other employees at the same store before & each time they wait on me at the counter with no problems; however, today this manager told me that we would use the kiosk - I again told her that I do not use the kiosks & wanted to place my order @ the counter. She said, "Well today, we are going to use the kiosk." As she proceeded to walk to the kiosk, I again told her I would not use one of them and she said she would use it for me to place my order - I told her nevermind & I would go somewhere else & as I was walking out the door I heard someone laughing and turned around to see her looking at me laughing. I called the store and told them I would not be back and am taking my business elsewhere, all they said was they would talk to her. We as customers should not be told that we have to use these kiosks, and made to feel bad for insisting on a real person taking our order (especially when insisting on a real person taking an order is helping to protect the jobs of real people instead of helping the kiosks to take one or more peoples jobs away - of course they say that will never happen, but... Read moreWe had a very bad experience at this McDonald's on Saturday March 17, 2018 St. Patrick's Day! We stopped there for supper & wanted Shamrock Shakes. They had Kiosk that you ordered & paided for your food from which was new to us & we had never done that before but we got through it & used a debit card. That wasn't hard at all to do. But then when we get done after ordering & paying we are told by the waitress that bring your food to your table that they don't have ice cream so there is no Shamrock Shakes. So we had to order something else in place of them. So my wife got a strawberry banana smoothie & I got a Carmel frappe. That was disappointing because we had our minds sets on Shamrock Shakes. Been nice if the Kiosk would of said they were out of stock. Because we did see other items on the menu that did say out of stock so we know it is an option. Then when my wife got her sandwich the two patties on the sandwich were burnt like a hamburger left on a grille way to long. So she took it back. The next sandwich had a hair on the side of the box that look like it was a pubic hair. So that was gross! She took it back. The next sandwich the waitress brought out wasn't even the right sandwich at all. By this time my wife is getting very frustrated.
