I travel A TON within the beautiful state of Iowa for work. This is an incredible gem. A true neighborhood bar, within a neighborhood, in Fort Dodge, IA. And by neighborhood bar, I mean that you feel like family when you're there. The vibe is very special. It's got the sports bar feel, but it's so much more than that. It's complete hospitality. That is amazing in itself, but then you move on to the food. My Goodness! The pics are of the cheesesteak (before) that I got to go for work purposes which involves a lot of driving. The second picture was what remained (nothing). I turned it into a wrap for handheld convenience. It was to die for. The cheese curds are not your typical cheese balls frozen and fried. Glad we found this place and was worth the extra 10 minute drive from the softball fields.

Read moreOur first visit since it changed from Lefty's. I wasn't optimistic because we liked Lefty's. I was more than a little surprised that it was even better! I got the tenderloin basket. It came on Texas toast and was amazing. My husband had the Philly and said it was great. My mom had the fish and chips. She rarely finishes her food but managed to eat every last bite. Both the French fries and the waffle fries were crispy, perfectly browned, and delicious. I imagine everything else on the menu is just as good. We will...
