I normally like stopping in checkers for their good fries and tasty burgers and shakes, however on this occasion and location I was more than greatly disappointed to say the least. After arriving to find only one lane of the drive-thru open and waiting for 45 minutes in line I was informed by the employee over the microphone that they had ran out of cooked food and it was too close to closing time to cook more, when I asked why they wouldn't cook more as the food is normally provided fresh, I was told in a angry loud voice that it wasn't my place to tell them how to do their job and they weren't going to cook anymore expletive food that night and if I didn't like it then I could come in and do something about it, and then told to take my expletive across the street to McDonald's if I wanted something to eat so bad. Unfortunately that's what I did, and had to settle for a lesser quality not quite as tasty food. The situation could have and should have been handled much better, and it's a shame that people in the service industry have forgotten or never known what industry they were in, when I'm serving someone I take pride in my work in both presentation and customer satisfaction, so I wouldn't recommend this location if you want friendliness and tastiness in one dining experience unfortunately, and that's a shame that a good corporation is being brought down due to bad employment decisions from the lowest end of the service letter. As I was told however there are other choices very close by that you can acquire food from, and if you have to have checkers there are others in the area that hopefully meet the regular server standards of...
Read moreI go into a checkers rather often, including this location.. I order big orders of burgers because I foster dogs for a shelter and I like to treat them when I get a fast food snack myself. Tonight was no different after getting to the window as expected I was asked to pull around as my order would take a bit. Not a problem. In fact the employees were actually really nice. While I waited I was parked next to a car playing loud music (very common) before my food come out the per ddf om in the car turned it off, and exited.. the extreme cloud of pot filled the air and into my car.. now I don't care if someone chooses to partake. Really that's thier business, BUT ((the reason for one ☆)) this person proceeded to walk up to the building and enter the employee entrance, clearly to go back to work. After a let's get stoned out of my mind break. I bring this up for one reason only, it is very unacceptable for ANY employee to be working ANY job while clearly under the influence of drugs. Do it on your own time, not when your job is to be clear minded and perform duties and get paid for it. The reason for the post is this is the only way management will ever know the moment happened as checkers seems to not answer the phone...
Read moreThis restaurant is terrible. Last night I waited in the drive threw for 1 hour and 54min. It seems to me that they didn’t really want to take orders so they tried there very best to hold up the line. They had 2 lines full of people and everyone was waiting. I seen some people leave the drive through line and walk up to order and came back in there cars and they couldn’t move because cars were behind them. When I got to the intercom to finally make my order ( mind you the entire time I’m here, there is only 2 cars ahead of me, and they patiently waited) this guy came out before 3 and told everyone my bad we closed. I waited sooo long I was sooo tired. If I could have left I would have but the other cars were not moving. I have so many loyalty to checkers even though honestly they don’t deserve it. The staff is ratchet, they never say hello or your welcome, and they always have attitudes. I’m really nice, literally every time no matter what. This is unfair! I have spent thousands of dollars with this company but I’m done. I had to drive home without anything to eat. Please check your cameras if you don’t believe me. Good luck in your future, you have...
