The show itself was great the venue and seat geek couldn't have been less concer ed for the welfare of their patrons. Those with access to soundcheck lined up at the requested time, given the heat index well into the 100s, naturally patrons collected in. The overhang shade fo stay cool. Well by the time sou d check actually started the venue was still not set up to scan in patrons and not only that forced us to form a simgle file line, whose point of origins strangely was not a foot sooner than the last space of shade. The activation of scanner kiosks made this wait seem trivial but it lasted upwards for 30 minutes resulting in near heat stroke. The entire event staff could see all of the pre-show patrons and made nk attempt to hydrate provide accessible accommodations, or even bothered asking is folks were okay. So while myself at the very least was losing my vision due to a sheer over saturation of light and inability to disapate heat the staff drank water in the shade and disallowed access to the air-conditioned venue where the kiosks could have been loc a Ted from the start or pre show ticket holder could have been safely and responsiblely held while they figured out their kiosk conundrum. The entire front of house staff genuinely acted as if they wanted up to pass out to cancel the show so they could watch the Panthers game. Mine is not an isolated case. Compatriots civilian and non, left the pre-show que they paid extra for due to the hostile venue treatment. Seak geek and their lack of staff coordination and consideration was a stain tarnishing the goal and ethos of this...
Read moreI went here to see the new ice Plex. That is the practice home for the Florida Panthers. The ice flex itself is amazing, very modern, and has ample seating for you to watch the Panthers practice, or to watch any of the local hockey clubs play their games. The Pantherland store has a wide variety of items that you will not find at the Arena. The staff that I encountered there was very friendly. The only issue I have is that they don’t have a parking lot and that you wind up parking in a grassy area, which can be an issue when it rains as it did the day that I went. The water doesn’t drain very fast and there were multiple areas of ankle deep water. It’s a fairly busy part of Fort Lauderdale so don’t expect to get there quickly, but it is worth...
Read moreFacility is fine but the first performance on January 21st 2025 and wow it shows. The staff needs to be retrained at a minimum. First, they need to learn soft skills. Talk about rude and ridiculous dealing w paying attendees; This is from us and others who we spoke with, and there were many who were very upset. And let's go to ADA compliance. I'm handicapped and all I asked is please let me sit either in VIP as we paid for, or some aisle or open seat. Nope. Supervisor on duty only seat available was in the middle of a row. I could go on...retrain them or hire a new crew. If this is how this place is run I guarantee few will...
