Fun place great to watch weekend games, excellent service and amazing food. My favorites are the baby back ribs, blackened Mahi Mahi, or chicken wings with a cold pitcher of beer. Wings are done right with celery & carrot sticks with Bleu cheese for dipping. The Mahi Mahi is always fresh and perfectly seasoned. If you've never had the BBQ baby back ribs from flannigans your definitely in for a lip smacking amazing meal, these I highly recommend and you will not be disappointed. Hold on now, you cannot have the flannigans experience without having one or two of their mouthwatering deserts. First one that comes to mind is Joe's authentic key lime pie it's a must have after your amazing dinner. They also have their famous banzai brownie, a super-sized, warm, triple chocolate brownie, piled high with Edy's vanilla ice cream, covered with huge chunks of Oreo cookies, surrounded by Kit Kat bars, and topped off with whipped cream and Hershey's chocolate syrup! The ultimate chocolate lover's challenge! They also have chocolate ecstacy, a homemade-style, moist dark chocolate layer cake, filled and frosted with a rich, dark fudge icing, and surrounded with an outer layer of mini chocolate chips. This is not the time to break a chocolate addiction! Also a unique blended mixture of creamy milk caramel and vanilla cheesecake on a graham cracker crust, topped with a swirl of caramel. Melts in your mouth. Then the best for last flannigans shenanigan which is a giant slice of candy walnut apple pie, topped with a mountain of Edy's vanilla ice cream, a river of caramel and an avalanche of Heath Bar crunch. Huge! (You will need...
Read moreWe ordered the dolphin francaise, half rack of ribs, ulyime blue margarita, and a frozen strawberry daiquiri.
The ribs were delicious and the sauce on them quite sweet. The drinks were sweet as well, just how we like'em. However, I can't say anything good about the dolphin dish.
I never had dolphin before and decided to try it out. I'm an adventurous eater and not picky at all. The dolphin came out in a puddle of liquid. It looked like it was slid from pot to plate. It smelled absolutely horrific, it like was spoiled. The taste was mild at first, but with a tinge of being spoiled. The more I ate and chewed, the more it was unbearably foul tasting. That spoiled taste built in my mouth like I was eating out of a sewer.
I asked a waitress for something else instead and she informed the manager, who came over, asked if I had dolphin before, took my plate, and walked away without saying anything else.
We had to flag down our main waitress to ensure I could order something else. She assured us I could and the manager will take the dolphin off our tab. She recommended some other dishes and I decided on the Texas burger.
Now this burger was good! Overall, the waitresses were friendly and quick to compensate for the terrible dolphin dish. Our waitresses kept checking on us periodically, and we enjoyed ourselves.
The manager was rude in the small interaction we had. His question implied I wasn't accustomed to dolphin, rather than the meat being spoiled. That smell cannot be natural!
Come to this restaurant, avoid the dolphin, and enjoy your time in...
Read moreToday (04/23/17) my fiance and I decided to grab a bite to eat at this Flannigan's location which is something we don't usually do because I cook a lot. The only reason I give 2 stars is because of our server. The only thing I can say I liked about this location was the sever, Francisco. He provided friendly and fast service and answered any questions we may have had HOWEVER we ordered the Strawberry Daiquiris which did not taste like strawberries, in fact it hardly had any flavor at all nor could you taste even a slight bit of alcohol in it oh and let's not forget the huge chunks of ice floating around, so that alone we were not pleased. We ordered our food which mine was the firecracker shrimp that looked like it was just thrown onto the plate with shredded lettuce. I thought "okay cool, I won't let that stop me" I ate one shrimp ONLY to discover after eating it that I had HAIR IN MY FOOD 😣😣😣 I grabbed the closet waitress available and showed her the hair, she apologized countless amount of times and took the food away. My server walked by and I informed him on the situation at hand which he immediately called for the manager. Joel (manager) came by, I explained what happened and he took the food off my tab and asked if there was anything else I may have wanted but at that point I just wanted my bill so we could leave. This has to be by far the worst experience I've ever had going to a restaurant which reminded me why I do not like to eat out, in stead I cook my own foods. I wouldn't recommend this location. Great service from...
