Fresh Catch Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

Food is great Not oily and really taste good. Much better than lots of others. I enjoy the food very much.

Would have given a higher score rating, however there’s much to desire about this place; The person taking your order has an unapproachable behavior, not friendly at all and just simply rude by her body language and talk with an attitude. (no customer service skills).

Outside the building area is also not letting this restaurant shine as it should. I pulled into the parking lot as any other will, and was immediately approached by a young man asking if can give him money. Then again by another as am about to enter the restaurant. After collecting my food and about to exit, someone put a bicycle just outside the door laying flat on the ground. I had to step over it.

Not sure what the owner and staff can do to improve outside as the parking lot is shared by several other business and is open to the public. Maybe they can take action with management to work on improving the environment and customer experience on the outside. This can be very beneficial to all business at this location.

My comment is not to down this business at all, but hopefully might get the owners attention to things that is causing a negative impact to an otherwise great...

BEWARE WHEN ORDERING ONLINE. Horrible customer service !!! I accidentally ordered pickup at the wrong location through DoorDash. When I tried to get help, the only contact listed was for the store itself. The man who answered the phone was not only rude but completely unhelpful and clearly didn’t want to do his job.

He kept going back and forth with me, telling me to “just call DoorDash,” even after I explained that wasn’t an option on my end. He also suggested I “just cancel it myself,” which also wasn’t possible. When I asked for DoorDash’s number—since it’s not listed on the website—he told me to “Google it.”After I pushed back, he finally gave me the number, but only with an attitude.

I’ve never eaten at this location before, only the one in Miami, but after that treatment, I won’t be spending my money here again. That behavior is unacceptable and disgusting. A little kindness goes a long way, and no customer spending their money should have to shake down a business for basic help or information.

This place was GREAT!! Visited this location while in town for a wedding. Let's just say they met ever expectation. We had a HUGE last minute order. Took about 30 mins for the entire order to get ready. The order was about 60 pieces of fish, fries, and 40 pieces of chicken.

The owner was in the kitchen frying the food. He gave us extra fries and fish because it was a big order. The cashier (can't remember her name, she was dark skinned, not super tall) was extremely helpful. She was very informative on the best route to go with making the big purchase. Very friendly, and polite. Let's not talk about how she saved the wedding with coming through with a makeup artist. Our makeup artist failed through and everyone we reached out to didn't respond. The person she referred not only answered but showed up and showed out!! 10 out of 10...
