Stopped by to grab some to go , and saw the rating was high and now I know why. I have a thing with restaurants that will have specials posted on the wall or written on a board , it lets me know they're growing as restaurant and open to ideas or willing to try new things, and that is one of the first things you'll see when you walk in. They'll have them posted on the wall where you can see. They also have a lot of pictures on the wall to show you what they're menu items look like. I love that everything on the menu isn't over priced! Great for it's quality of the food and quantity. The atmosphere kind of takes me back to a NY/NJ Sushi spot and you just know that if it looked like this, the food was gonna be great. They served all the popular rolls and they do have rice dishes like katsu and they have takoyaki which is something we are always ordering. The food is well priced, fresh, and we'll prepared. Big thanks to the staff who were nice enough to switch some items out after they already prepared my dish. I am allergic to shrimp but forgot to mention before hand and when I realized one piece in my combo was shrimp based I asked to confirm and they were kind enough to swap that for a salmon piece. And the fish also tastes VERY fishy, even leaves a lingering smell on my fingers. What could have changed? I am curious, how a restaurant cant go from fresh quality and taste to awful fish stank.
