Vito's Gourmet Pizza — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

I walked into Vito’s Gourmet Pizza and a white employee (later identified as Bobbie) was yelling at a black coworker, “You’re nothing but a fcking ngger!” He yelled the phrase three more times before a female employee waved toward my friend and I and said, “Just get a menu. Don’t worry about him. Get a menu” 😒 Really?

Bobbie then tried to physically provoke the young man and said, “I’ll see you outside you fcking ngger! That’s all you are, a fcking ngger and I’m gonna wait for you! I’ll see you outside.”

A male employee came around the counter and forced Bobbie outside, only for him to break away and come back inside repeating the same obscenities. The woman offered us a menu again. In shock of the avoidance of dealing with Bobbie, my friend and I left voicing our objections. The entire time, the young man who was being threatened never stopped working or engaged Bobbie.

A bit later, I decided to return to the store to make sure the young man was alright. When my friend and I walked in, we noticed more workers had arrived. Bobbie wasn’t in the store. The two original workers pointed us out and the apologies commenced. I approached the young man and asked if he was ok. He said he was and he apologized. I told him he didn’t owe me an apology, he was owed one and I wanted to ensure he was alright.

I asked the men who just arrived if Bobbie was going to be terminated. One man shrugged and said, “Ugh, you know... I’m sorry you experienced that. What can you do?” I told him what occurred wasn’t shrug-worthy and that I would be posting about his choice of employee. He shook his head as we left.

I’m returning tomorrow to verify if Bobbie still works there. What I know for sure is they will never see another dime from me again!

If anyone has info regarding corporate escalation, please post. I am trying to determine if this is a franchise or private ownership.

Vito’s Gourmet Pizza 6212 N. Federal Highway Ft....

They were marginally good for a late night spot.....but after giving them a second chance after finding a insect in the food several months ago I ordered late night from Vito's gourmet only to wait almost 2 hours then after speaking with the restaurant the man on the phone told me the driver could not see the address numbers on the house even though they are 14 in tall Chrome numbers wth led lighting.... clearly at the wrong house then the driver (Trudy Arronson)wants to call and start getting verbally abusive and making threats.... Sounded like a drunk old coward literally reviewed the security cameras they never came to the house once so he obviously delivered the food to the wrong house and he was trying to cover his ass they couldn't provide a picture of the delivered food on doorstep which is standard protocol for ubereats he couldn't tell me what cars were in the driveway and when being confronted with the fact that there's multiple security cameras on the front of the home large address letters and LED lighting he only became more belligerent..... Claiming that I'm a scammer?!?..... When he couldn't provide one detail of what the house that he had supposedly been to twice and left the food at look like or a picture or any proof that he was there obviously he was not... Literally told me to come to the store and challenge me to a fight over the phone what a drunk old coward stay far away from this place Bayview Pizza and grill is a much...

So this evening I didn't even order food my friend next door did. The driver a 75 year old man who no one will give out his name. Was beating on my door when I opened he said it wasn't for me that my friend is a piece of shit and took food that wasn't his and knew it. When he opened door this old man got in his face calling him all kinds of names when I told him to stop he will give you the food just give him the right order. I was hit in the face all while having a 3 month old baby on my hip. The old guy goes to his car at which point he comes out with a stick an tries hitting me with it at that time my father comes out and asked what's happening and then the old guy tries hitting him. I go to the store that this man works at and call the cops who will do nothing other then file a report. I guess old people can go around hitting women with kids in their arms and it's ok. Then it's explained to me that they aren't going to do anything. So I get hit and this is ok. When I ask for information for the owner sorry we can't help you. I was told I speaking to a manger when in fact he isn't one. This place needs to be shut down and I will now make it my goals to do so everyone of your locations will be shut down and i will be contacting my lawyer and sueing this company. You want to keep someone on that hits women with kids in their arms and it ok with you. It's not ok and I will be contacting the news stations and everyone else first thing in...
