Three Star Bagels — Restaurant in Fort Lee

Well I do wish this place actually lived up to the 3 stars in the title, but I was not pleased with my experience here. I will clarify I only tried the bagels, and am not sure how the other food is (sandwiches, coffee). I came in the afternoon, maybe that is not the right time to go if you want your bagels fresh? I asked for an everything bagel and they did not have any. I asked which ones they did have, and was directed to what was on display. Personally, I like my bagels to be soft and hot. The hot part I can fix myself because I have a microwave, but they just did not seem fresh. I had trouble even cutting through the bagel when I tried eating it; it just seemed old. I have been eating bagels for decades and know that a bagel should also be alright the next day. I saved one of them for my sandwich the following day, and the thing was almost a rock. I have been able to easily slice bagels up to 3 days old without issue prior to this location, so this rock-like thing was a surprise to me. The bagels were not terrible, just tough to bite into and not really soft. This place is in a pretty convenient location, it is just a bit of a let down that I was unable to get what I wanted. I would recommend going to one of the other local spots...

If you want to get robbed without getting held at gunpoint, heres the place. Asked for fresh jalapeño and cream cheese on a bagel, got pickled even after asking and making sure if it is fresh jalapeños, my skid leaves bigger skid marks on his pants than i got of cream cheese. Paid 16.24 for this bagel and an egg white turkey bacon cheese on a roll. This was my second time coming here. First time i paid $8 for a 12 oz cup of carrot and oj mix, 2 tb,e,c on roll, a bagel with cream cheese on the side, and a side ofbone dry balsamic chicken which tastes like nothing but carboard with oil. This was the second chance i gave them, the staff isnt even friendly. They look at you like you are bothering them as you walk in. I have never felt so robbed from a place as i have at this one today. Also their options are very limited on the cream cheeses. How can you call yourself a bagel shop and only have basic cream...

Bagel place that runs out of bagels before noon. Overpriced bagels and that’s the only thing that’s even edible. Service is always bad with 3 people behind counter and 2 customers is a 10 minute wait and they have the audacity to put multiple tip jars on the counter. You will be better off buying bagels and toasting them at home (you probably have a better toaster at home as they can’t even toast bagels on a grill). Place is dirty like a bodega in an outer borough where bagels are 1/2 the price with twice the cream cheese. that was the last time I tried to get service there. Far better bagel places in the area. Hope this place will make a good starbucks...
